Aspects described herein relate to a flexible order fulfillment management system that utilizes predefined fulfillment workflows including common business processes. By utilizing predefined workflows including common business processes, the order fulfillment management system is able to drive store-based fulfillment programs efficiently as multiple fulfillment workflows may utilize the same common business processes and a single fulfillment management system may operate workflows in parallel. In addition, such an order fulfillment management system may also be more easily adapted for different retail store environments as the system allows a designer to easily create or modify a fulfillment workflow by selecting predefined common business processes or creating any additional custom business processes. Another aspect described herein relates to a tool that allows a designer of an order fulfillment program to select from a group of predefined common business processes to create workflows associated with an order fulfillment program.

Flexible store fulfillment

A person may wish to use a submersible light to attract aquatic life, including fish. The submersible light described herein may include a mounting body around which outward facing lights are disposed. The lights may be powered with a connected power cord. To prevent water from contacting sensitive electronics within the submersible light, a water tight enclosure is created between the outside of the mounting body and an outer transparent covering. The submersible light may have ballast material inside the mounting body. The ballast material affects the buoyancy of the mounting body when it is placed in the water. The submersible lighting device may also emit a variety of light spectrums and light intensity levels which the user can control.

A method for purchasing a product at a brick-and-mortar retail establishment is provided. The method includes, but is not limited to, inputting identification information into a local device for a product sold by the brick-and-mortar retail establishment, transmitting the identification information to an order creation application, and upon receiving the identification information, selecting a dispense type for the product. The dispense type is selected from a group of dispense types including: 'carry' for personally carrying the product out of the brick-and-mortar retail establishment, 'load' for having the product loaded into the user's vehicle, &#x201c;pickup&#x201d; for having the product provided to the user at a predetermined location whereby the user will go to get that product, and &#x201c;delivery&#x201d; for delivering the product to the user at a predetermined location.
