A kiteboarding harness and method of kiteboarding with the harness. The harness has a hook extending radially outward from the harness and slidably attached to the harness for lateral repositioning of the hook on the harness about the anteroposterior axis of a human wearing the harness.

Harness for kiteboarding

In one embodiment, a method for testing a helmet comprising the steps of: placing a strike helmet on a first headform; placing a target helmet on a second headform, colliding the strike helmet against the target helmet; and measuring the acceleration of the second headform caused by the collision. In a second embodiment, an apparatus for testing a helmet comprising: a strike helmet placed on a first headform; a target helmet placed on a second headform; a motion device for moving the strike helmet to collide with the target helmet.

Football helmet, testing method, and testing apparatus

In one embodiment, a display comprising: a sleeve having a first guide; a movable member that moves in relation to the sleeve, the movable member having a second guide; and a slider slidably secured to the first guide and slidably secured to the second guide; whereby movement of the member causes the first guide and the second guide to cooperate in directing movement of the slider. In another embodiment, a display comprising: a sheet having a front side and a back side; a rotatable member positioned on the front side' of the sheet; a wheel positioned on the back side of the sheet; a shaft extending through the sheet, the shaft joining the rotatable member to the wheel; and a member slidable in relation to the sheet and to the wheel, the member having a surface for contacting the wheel and causing the wheel and the rotatable member to rotate when the member slides.

Display with movable components

Protective headguards comprising a front panel, a rear panel, and a means for releasably connecting the lateral ends of the front and rear panels. At least one and preferably both of the front and rear panels comprise layers of at least a shell, a shock absorbing liner and a comfort liner.

Protective headguard

A protective headguard including (i) a protective central pad for covering at least a portion of an athlete's forehead, (ii) a rear pad for covering at least a portion of an athlete's occipital bone, (iii) a sleeve interconnecting the central pad and the rear pad and covering at least a portion of the interior and exterior surfaces of the central and rear pads, and optionally (iv) an adjustment strap system interconnecting the rear pad and the central pad, (v) a packet of cooling material retained by the sleeve, and/or (vi) nubbins projecting from the interior surface of the central and/or rear pad.

Headguards for athletes, particularly soccer players, having a foam outer shell and attachment points for an interior padding or suspension system. The interior padding and/or the outer shell may independently be formed as a single unitary piece or a system of separately moveable parts.

Protective headguard to be worn by an athlete having (i) a protective central pad, (ii) a rear pad, (iii) an adjustable strap system interconnecting the rear pad and the central pad, and (iv) one or more of (a) a lack of any protective padding which would cover the side of the athlete's head when the headguard is worn, (b) a channel defined by the central pad extending substantially horizontally above the athlete's brow ridges and below the athlete's frontal bone when the headguard is worn, (c) a slot in the rear pad extending substantially vertically from the athlete's occipital bone and accommodating passage of a ponytail when the headguard is worn, (d) a single unitary liner, (e) bands encircling the central pad and releasably securing a liner to the central pad, (f) a removable sleeve, (g) a spine pad extending from the front panel to the rear pad (h) perceptible lines of demarcation on the exterior surface of the central pad.

Headguard-protective sports headband

Impact protection headguards for athletics and in particular soccer players are provided. In one embodiment, a protective headguard is provided that includes a central pad for covering a portion of a forehead of a wearer. The central pad has a first side and a second side, and a first and second padded rib extending from each side of the central pad. The distal ends of the first and second padded ribs on each side are connected to form side portions that extend rearward from the central pad for covering sides of the head of the wearer. The headguard also includes a rear pad for covering an occipital bone of the wearer and an adjustment strap system which secures the side portions of the central pad to the rear pad.

Impact protection headguard

Generally, the present invention relates to an improved implement for removing objects embedded in the ground and more particularly to a manually operated implement for removal of entire plants, root and all, such as unwanted saplings, vines, and large weeds with sturdy stems. In accordance with one embodiment of the invention, an implement is provided which includes a handle, attached to a head with a gripping device. The head includes a flared rear portion and a claw with two flanges on the front portion. The bottom face of the head is generally smooth. The top face of the head includes a collar for attachment to the handle. The gripping device rests atop the collar of the head and includes an extension which projects over the surface of the top face forming an aperture.

Weed-tree remover

Generally, the present invention relates to an improved headguard for athletes and in particular soccer players. In accordance with one embodiment of the invention, a headguard is provided which includes a headcover and an adjustable head strap disposed on a perimeter of the head for drawing sections of the headcover together. The headcover includes padding having at least a front portion and a top portion and also includes a flexing section. The flexing section of the headcover is positioned such that, when the head strap is adjusted, at least a portion of the headcover flexes at the flexing section to generally conform to at least a portion of the head of a wearer.
