A communication system includes a wiring closet having a data hub and a telephone switching device. Each of a plurality of workstations includes a telephone and/or a computer. A single cable assembly interconnects the wiring closet and the workstations. The cable assembly includes a plurality of connector assemblies, with each connector assembly being associated with a respective workstation. Each connector assembly has at least one breakout connector connected to a telephone or a computer of the respective workstation. Each of a plurality of cables has a plurality of electrical conductors. A first of the cables interconnects the wiring closet and a first of the connector assemblies. Other cables connect the first connector assembly and other connector assemblies in series.

Direct to closet wiring system

A communication cable connector assembly includes a first connector, a second connector and a first breakout connector. The first connector has a plurality of first terminals. The second connector has a plurality of second terminals with a plurality of adjacent pairs of terminals. Each of the plurality of second terminals mate with a corresponding one of the plurality of first terminals. A plurality of the adjacent pairs of terminals define breakout terminal pairs which are non-adjacent relative to each other. A first breakout connector associated with the second connector has a plurality of third terminals associated with the breakout terminal pairs of the second connector.

Communication system and communication cable connector assembly

An ice maker includes a mold and an auger. The mold has at least one cavity with a bottom surface, and is configured for containing water therein for freezing into ice. The auger has a shaft with at least one flight attached thereto, the shaft including a top end and a base end with the base end being rotatably mounted in the bottom surface of the at least one mold cavity. The shaft extends substantially vertically through the mold cavity and is configured to rotate and thereby push the ice out of the mold cavity. The shaft and/or at least one flight has an inward taper in a direction heading from the base end to the top end of the shaft.

Ice maker

A wire terminator assembly is for connecting a plurality of wires to an electrical connector having a plurality of terminals. The wire terminator assembly includes two terminator blades slidably retained within a base unit. Each terminator blade is configured for connecting a respective one of the wires to a respective one of the terminals of the electrical connector. A drive unit is configured for simultaneously sliding each of the terminator blades within the base unit to thereby connect the wires to the electrical connector.

Simultaneous wire pair terminator

An ice making apparatus includes a mold having a cavity with a bottom surface. The mold cavity is configured for containing water therein for freezing into ice. An auger extends substantially vertically through the mold cavity. The auger is configured for rotating to thereby push the ice out of the mold cavity. The auger includes a rotatable surface at least partially defining the bottom surface of the mold cavity. The rotatable surface includes at least one ramp configured for lifting the ice off of the bottom surface of the mold cavity.

A communication cable connector assembly includes a first connector, a second connector, a first breakout connector and a second breakout connector. The first connector has a plurality of first terminals. The second connector has a plurality of second terminals with a plurality of pairs of adjacent terminals. Each of the plurality of second terminals mate with a corresponding one of the plurality of first terminals. A first subset of the pairs of adjacent terminals define first breakout terminal pairs which are non-adjacent relative to each other. A second subset of the pairs of adjacent terminals define second breakout terminal pairs which are non-adjacent relative to each other. A first breakout connector associated with the second connector has a plurality of third terminals connected with the first breakout terminal pairs of the second connector. A second breakout connector associated with the second connector has a plurality of fourth terminals connected with the second breakout terminal pairs of the second connector.

A communication cable connector assembly includes a first connector, a second connector and a plurality of breakout connectors. The first connector has a plurality of first terminals. The second connector has a plurality of second terminals with a plurality of subsets of terminals. Each of the plurality of second terminals mate with a corresponding one of the plurality of first terminals. Each subset of terminals includes a plurality of pairs of adjacent terminals. Each pair of adjacent terminals defines a breakout terminal pair. The breakout terminal pairs within a same subset of terminals are non-adjacent relative to each other. Each of a plurality of breakout connectors is associated with a respective subset of terminals. Each breakout connector has a plurality of third terminals connected with the breakout terminal pairs of the respective subset of terminals.

A apparatus for monitoring and controlling a power system having an alternating current bus. The apparatus includes a module which is coupled to the bus and which digitizes and modulates at least one of a voltage waveform and a current waveform present on the bus. A control unit which is also coupled to the bus demodulates the digitized waveform and calculates a parameter selected from the group consisting of average current, root mean square current, peak current, current crest factor, average voltage, root mean square voltage, peak voltage, voltage crest factor, voltage surge, current waveform shape, voltage waveform shape, current waveform harmonic structure, voltage waveform harmonic structure and combinations thereof. The calculated parameter is used to monitor conditions on the bus and control loads connected to modules of the system.

Apparatus for and method of monitoring and controlling a power system

An arrangement for transforming electrical power is disclosed. An embodiment of the arrangement includes conductors for electrically connecting to an input source of three phase electrical power. This embodiment of the arrangement also includes a transforming device electrically connected to the conductors. The transforming device includes circuitry for transforming the input source of three phase power into at least two output phases separated from one another by approximately 180 electrical degrees. The transforming device also includes circuitry for reducing the level of instantaneous power drawn from the input source by shifting each output phase a predetermined number of electrical degrees from one of the three phases of the input source.
