A child containment system has a child containment structure with a bottom and a perimeter wall surrounding the bottom. A bassinet has an infant support surface and a surrounding wall around the infant support surface. The bassinet can be mounted to the child containment structure with the infant support surface elevated above the bottom of the child containment structure. An infant support unit can have a frame, a bed supported by the frame, and legs that extend from one end infant support unit to the distal second end. The infant support unit is configured for use in a first operational mode in which the infant support unit at least partially positioned within the child containment structure with the bed overlying the bassinet's infant support surface, and with a portion of the legs contacting the bassinet's infant support surface.

A child containment system includes a child containment structure that has a bottom and a perimeter wall surrounding the bottom; a bassinet that has an infant support surface and a surrounding wall around the support surface, the bassinet mounted to the child containment structure with the bottom panel elevated above the support surface; and an infant support unit that has a frame, a bed supported by the frame, and a connector structure positioned adjacent each opposed end of the infant support unit. In a first operational mode the infant support unit is removably mounted to the child containment structure with the bed overlying the support surface with each connector structure coupled to a corresponding portion of the perimeter wall. The frame is configured to support the bed above a rest surface in a second operational mode in which the infant support unit is detached from the child containment structure.

A child seat has a seat base with a seating surface, a front edge, and a back end. A back support surface of the child seat is generally inclined relative to the seating surface. A seat bight is formed at the juncture between the seating surface and the back support surface. The seat bight is adjustable between a first bight position spaced a first distance from the front edge of the seat base and a second bight position spaced a second distance from the front edge of the seat base. The second distance is less than the first distance. A seat back insert can be provided that is attachable to the seat base in one or more insert positions defining one or more of the bight positions. The insert can create the back support surface at one or more position relative to the front edge. The seat base can also have a back wall creating the back support surface further from the front edge when the insert is removed.

A child containment system includes a child containment structure defining an interior space to be occupied by an infant and including an infant support surface within the interior space, and an infant support unit configured for use in a first operational mode in which the infant support unit is coupled to the child containment structure and disposed within the interior space above the infant support surface. The infant support unit and the child containment structure include respective connectors to secure the infant support unit in the first operational mode. The infant support unit includes a frame configured for use of the infant support unit in a second operational mode in which the infant support unit is independent of the child containment structure.

A child seat assembly has a clamp mechanism configured to connect to a table and a child seat coupled to and supported spaced from the clamp mechanism. The child seat is reconfigurable between a toddler seat configuration and an infant seat configuration relative to the table and the clamp mechanism.

A child seat for a juvenile product has a seating surface with a first section, a second section, and a seat bight region between the first and second sections. A lap belt is coupled to the child seat near the seat bight region. A first crotch strap is coupled to the child seat on the first section side of the seat bight region and is connectable to the lap belt in a first harness configuration rendering the first section as the seat bottom of the seating surface. The child seat has a removable pad insert with a second crotch strap. With the pad insert installed over the first section of the seating surface, the pad insert positions the second crotch strap on the second section side of the seat bight region. The second crotch strap is connectable to the lap belt in a second harness configuration rendering the second section as the seat bottom of the seating surface.

Reconfigurable child seat assembly for a juvenile product

A bassinet includes a frame and a bed basket supported by the frame. The bed basket defines an infant sleep surface. The frame and the bed basket are pivotably coupled to allow the bed basket to rotate relative to the frame to convert between a first bassinet configuration and a second bassinet configuration. The second bassinet configuration has a greater wall height about the infant sleep surface than the first bassinet configuration.

A stroller includes a frame assembly, a seat supported by the frame assembly, and first and second adjustable seat supports engaged with the frame assembly to support the seat in a position relative to the frame assembly. A link couples the first and second seat supports such that a movement of the first seat support is mirrored in a corresponding movement of the second seat support to adjust the position of the seat.

A method of controlling a child motion device includes the steps of determining data indicative of motion of the child motion device, and controlling an audio output of the child motion device in accordance with the data. In some cases, the controlling step includes the step of modulating the audio output in accordance with the data. For example, the modulating step may involve applying a modulation effect to an audio track available to the child motion device.

A juvenile product includes a seat having a seating area supported by a part of the juvenile product, a canopy positionable over at least a portion of the seating area and having an underside that faces the seating area, and a projection system carried on the juvenile product. The projection system has a projector configured to project visible stimuli either above the seating area or onto at least part of the underside of the canopy. These and other aspects of the disclosure are directed to providing a soothing and entertaining environment that may also be adjustable or customizable to address the changing interests and developmental levels of a child occupant.
