In some examples, the disclosure describes a device that includes a first media tray positioned at a media input of a pick and separation mechanism, a second media tray positioned at the media input of the pick and separation mechanism, a media scan guide to position a sheet of print media at the media input of the pick and separation mechanism, a shared media path comprising a turn roller to receive the sheet of print media from the pick and separation mechanism from a first direction and provide the sheet of print media to a print zone in a second direction, and an output zone to receive the sheet of print media from the shared media path.

An example of an apparatus is provided. The apparatus includes a feeder tank to provide print fluid to a nozzle. The feeder tank is disposed below the nozzle to maintain a backpressure. The apparatus also includes a vent port to vent the feeder tank to atmosphere. The apparatus further includes an overflow chamber in fluidic communication with the feeder tank. The overflow chamber is disposed below the nozzle. In addition, the apparatus includes a return channel disposed on the overflow chamber to allow print fluid in the overflow chamber to return to the feeder tank.

An ink tank includes a cap assembly attached to the ink tank by a preloaded hinge that defines a rotational axis of the cap assembly when the cap assembly is opened and closed. The preloaded hinge biases the cap assembly to an opened position when the cap assembly is unlatched. The cap assembly includes a cap housing, a bung retained within the cap housing, a spring disposed between the cap housing and the bung, a latch to hold the cap assembly in a closed position, where in the closed position the spring applies a force to provide a seal between the bung and the ink tank. The cap assembly also includes an effector that is operative when the cap assembly is unlatched, to sequence a closing of an internal valve of the ink tank and a breaking of the seal between the bung and the ink tank thereafter.

An example system includes an ink tank including a feeder tank, wherein the feeder tank is to hold a fluid therein, the feeder tank having a port, the feeder tank being under a negative gauge pressure. The example system further includes a print cartridge in fluid communication with the port of the feeder tank, the print cartridge having a nozzle plate. The port of the feeder tank is positioned to a lower corner of the feeder tank distally to the print cartridge, wherein the nozzle plate is disposed above a predetermined level within the feeder tank when the system is not tilted, the predetermined level corresponding to a free surface of a predetermined volume of the fluid when the system is not tilted. When the system is tilted to position the nozzle plate below the port, the volume of fluid uncovers the port.

Tanks for print cartridge

An example ink tank includes a cap with a preloaded hinge that biases the cap to a fully opened position when the cap is unlatched. The cap in the fully opened position interferes with and prevents the closure of a door that provides access to the ink tank. The door includes a sensor that locks out the print function when the door is open, effecting a printer lockout when the cap of the ink tank is opened for filling.

Ink cartridge caps

An example ink tank includes an ink tank and a cap assembly attached to the ink tank with a preloaded hinge. The hinge rotates the cap assembly from a closed position to an open position when the cap assembly is unlatched. The cap assembly includes a bung to seal the ink tank during a partial rotation of the cap assembly when the cap assembly is unlatched. The ink tank also includes spring-loaded linkage connected to a valve in the ink tank. An effector extending from the cap assembly engages the spring-loaded linkage when the cap assembly is latched and disengages from the spring-loaded linkage after the cap assembly is unlatched. The spring-loaded linkage opens the valve when engaged with the effector, and closes the valve when disengaged from the effector, while the bung maintains a tank seal until the internal valve is closed.

Example implementations relate to printer valve seals. In some examples, a printer valve to receive print substance from a fluid conduit and transmit the received print substance to a print cartridge can include a valve neck having a first seal member to provide a seal between the valve neck and an inlet of the print cartridge, and an actuator having a second seal member to form a seal within a valve body of the printer valve while the valve neck is detached from the inlet of the print cartridge.

A selectable drive printing device includes a drive selector system to select between driving a print drive system and driving a scan drive system based at least partially on a position of a selector swing arm of the drive selector system. The selectable drive printing device includes a shifter to selectively shift the drive selector system between a scanning system drive position of the selector swing arm and a printing system drive position of the selector swing arm.

A selectable drive printing device includes a feedshaft to selectively drive a print drive system and a scan drive system, and a shifter to selectively shift a drive selector assembly of the selectable drive printing device between a scanning system drive position wherein the scan drive system is driven and a printing system drive position wherein the print drive system is driven. The shifter is coaxially and rotatably coupled around the feedshaft. Further, the shifter selectively drives the print drive system and the scan drive system based on an angular position of the shifter about the feedshaft.

An apparatus for use as part of an inkjet printer to clear an ink drop stalagmite in the printer. In one embodiment the apparatus includes a clearing device coupled to an access door of the inkjet printer, wherein upon operation of the access door the clearing device at least partially clears the ink drop stalagmite.
