Disclosed herein is a barbell safety device. The device mounts in pairs over the spaced stop collars of a barbell. The device is generally 'T' shaped and is used in an inverted ‘T’ orientation. The device comprises a stop collar receiver configured to house a portion of a loadable sleeve of a barbell as well as the stop collar of the barbell. A central support assembly extends from the stop collar receiver to an elongate base support. The central support assembly in preferred forms is telescoping and can be fixed by pins or other means at a variety of lengths to accommodate to the needs of the user. When the barbell is lowered during exercise, the base support will engage the ground and prevent further lowering of the barbell thereby protecting the user from injury.

Barbell safety device and methods

A free-weight lifting and support system used by a weightlifter. The system includes a left side support and a left free-weight holder. It also includes a right side support and a right free-weight holder. It further includes a lifting bar, the lifting bar located between the left and right side supports and separating the left and right side supports from each other, and the lifting bar is vertically adjustable relative to the left and right side supports at the same time. The left side support is connected with the right side support via at least the lifting bar such that the lifting bar, the left side support and the right side support are together simultaneously liftable from a ground position to a lifted position by the weightlifter and safely back to the ground position by the weightlifter.

Free-weight lifting and support system used by a weightlifter

A paint applicator assembly includes a frame having a base. The base has a forward side, a first lateral side, and a second lateral side opposite the first lateral side. A light assembly is supported by the frame. The light assembly includes a printed circuit board having a forward side portion positioned proximate the forward side of the base. The light assembly further includes a plurality of light sources supported on the printed circuit board. The plurality of light sources includes a first light source and a second light source positioned on the forward side portion. The first light source is configured to direct light along a first direction, and the second light source is configured to direct light along a second direction that is different than the first direction.

A handle adapter assembly is provided for attaching to a paint applicator. The handle adapter assembly includes a housing having a first end and a second end opposite the first end. The housing includes a first connector positioned at the first end. The first connector is configured to attach to the paint applicator. The housing also includes an outer surface extending between the first end and the second end. One or more light sources is supported by the housing. A power source is supported by the housing. The power source is electrically connected to the one or more light sources. A bumper member is supported by the housing. The bumper member extends outwardly beyond the outer surface of the housing.

A paint edger for applying paint with a paint applicator pad that is coupled to the paint edger. The paint edger includes a frame having a base with a forward side, a rear side, a first lateral side, and a second lateral side opposite the first lateral side, the first lateral side defines a first edge. The paint edger also includes an ejection mechanism supported by the frame. The ejection mechanism defines a second edge adjacent the second lateral side of the base. The ejection mechanism includes an actuator. The actuator is operable to move the second edge relative to the frame to uncouple the paint applicator pad from the paint edger.

Light assembly

A light assembly is configured to connect between a handle and a work implement. The light assembly includes a housing that defines an interior and includes an adapter with a first end, a second end opposite the first end, and a first axis that extends centrally through the adapter between the first and second ends. The first end defines a bore configured to couple to the handle. The second end defines an extension configured to couple to the work implement. A battery receptacle is disposed within the interior of the housing and is configured to receive a battery. An elongated flexible arm extends from the housing and includes a first end adjacent the housing and a second end opposite the first end. A light is disposed at the second end of the elongated flexible arm.

Light assembly including an adapter to couple to a work implement

An improved utility cart is presented which can be configured in various ways so as to allow it to be: used for hauling game or fishing supplies, used as a seat-backed chair, or conveniently backpacked over rough terrain. A preferred embodiment includes: (a) an opening-upward frame structure, (b) a pair of wheels rotatably attached beneath the frame, (c) a handle having an end that is pivotably connected at a point on the front portion of the frame, (d) a seat having an edge that is pivotably attached at a point of the top side of the frame, and (e) a seat brace with an end that is pivotably connected at a second point on the top side of the frame, wherein the seat and seat brace are positionable such that the front portion of the seat is extended to a position which is approximately perpendicular to the top side of the frame and an end of the seat brace is extended from the frame so as to detachably connect with a point on the bottom surface of the seat so as to detachably lock the seat into its extended, second position for serving as a seat when the cart's frame is leaned upwards and supported on its rear portion.
