A front facing line terminal block assembly for a telecommunications network has an external housing mountable to a frame and a field block housing pivotally mounted to the external housing. The field block housing mounts a field block bearing a plurality of wire connectors. The external housing is capable of accepting the field block housing. A first set of retention elements is capable of positively locking the field block frame in a first, retracted position. A second set of retention elements is capable of positively locking the field block housing in a second pivotally rotated position wherein it is rotated outwardly of the external housing. An access door is pivotally mounted to the field block housing.

Front-facing line terminal block assembly

A cable mounting bracket device for mounting a multi-conductor telecommunications cable to a connector block to support the cable thus relieving strain on the multiple conductors leading from the cable to the connector block. The cable mounting bracket device allows the cable to be easily reoriented to accommodate various installation restrictions and/or requirements. The bracket portion of the cable mounting bracket device does not have any moving parts. The device includes only three main components including a bracket, a cable securing clamp and fasteners which secure the bracket to the connector block or another surface. The bracket is generally T-shaped having a mounting portion and two perpendicularly extending cable mounting extremity portions which are cantilevered off the mounting portion.

Cable mounting bracket

A frame connector assembly having a module field into which six pin alarm indicating modules can be inserted. The front face of the module field has six receptacles for each module, each receptacle associated with a respective one of the six module pins. The rear face of the module field has six pins for each module, each pin associated with a respective one of the six receptacles. The ground bus which interconnects all of the rear face ground pins of all of the modules in a given row follows a serpentine path. The module field receptacles are designed to make it difficult to insert a module with the pins reversed.

Telephone distribution frame connector assembly for use with central

A telephone distribution frame connector assembly for connecting incoming lines to inside equipment and comprises a module field block, a test field block and an equipment field block, and a frame member for mounting the field blocks to a telephone distribution frame. The field blocks are mounted to the frame member to define a generally rectilinear enclosure having one open side. An access panel is provided for normally covering the one open side of the connector assembly, and a panel securing arrangement is provided for removably, securely engaging a marginal peripheral portion of the access panel with a peripheral edge portion of the open side. One or more of the field blocks includes a plurality of ground terminals located interiorally of the enclosure thus defined. A common ground bus is electrically coupled to all of the ground terminals and an adjustable ground selection arrangement is provided for alternatively coupling the ground bus to one of a frame ground and an isolated ground. The test field block and equipment field block are mounted in a side-by-side condition to form a front side or surface of the assembly. A securing arrangement is provided for securely holding the test field block and the equipment field block to the frame and to the module field block in this side-by-side alignment while readily permitting removal for repair or replacement of either thereof separately.

Telephone distribution frame connector assembly

A side access panel and associated rear fanning strip for enclosing the otherwise open side of a telephone distribution frame connector assembly. The fanning strip interconnects a rear facing edge of the access panel to a rear edge portion of assembly without the use of fasteners. An engaging means such as a clamping strip may also be included as part of the access panel to engage a front facing edge of the assembly to provide a more secure mounting of the panel over the open side.
