There is described a lighting control system of a building environment comprising a control device and a lighting device. The control device is capable of detecting an activation of a configuration mode of the lighting control system and controlling illumination for the building environment in response to command inputs received at a user interface. The lighting device is capable of receiving a message indicating that the activation of the configuration mode has been detected by the control device and receiving a directional signal from a directional device subsequent to receiving the message. A membership status of the lighting device in a device group is changed in response to receiving the directional signal.

Lighting control system configurable by control device

A bread storage dispenser device comprising a housing container made to stand upright having a closed bottom surface and open top end with the housing container further formed having a substantially rectangular chamber extending longitudinally through perimeter walls thereof. A serving drawer assembly is integrally constructed and formed to engage the chamber of the housing container and slide longitudinally therein guided by a pair of side rails on the perimeter walls on opposite sides of the container to a position substantially proximate to the closed bottom surface thereof. The serving drawer assembly includes a top lid member sized to cover and close the open top end of the housing container with a perimeter sealing member secured beneath the lid member, a bottom shelf member having a cross section conforming with the chamber of the housing container and further notched on opposite sides to engage the side rails, and a carriage tray member extending between the top lid and the bottom shelf member configured to retain the slices of bread in a stack held upon the bottom shelf. By raising the serving drawer assembly from its seated position, the stack of bread slices stored within the housing container may be lifted therefrom to allow easy removal of bread slices by the user, and the serving drawer may then be released to descend by itself to a reseated position.

An improved hand-held food processor for performing selected cutting operations upon a foodstuff is disclosed comprising an elongated housing, a lever arm extended substantially through the housing and pivotally coupled thereto under a spring bias, and a processing plate containing a cutting panel slidably disposed and adapted to engage the pivoting lever arm at its lower tip to provide reciprocating cutting motion. The housing is formed having a narrow grip-like upper section for handling and an expanded bell-shaped lower section with an open bottom at the base of the housing. The lower section of the housing is further formed having a forward compartment intended to hold the foodstuff to be processed. A spring-driven press mechanism is slidably mounted within the forward compartment of the housing and releasably engaged for activation to push the foodstuff through the compartment and onto the reciprocating plate for delivery of processed foodstuff.

Hand-held food processor

A food processor device arranged to be held in a user's hand for slicing or grating a foodstuff, e.g., garlic, is provided. The device basically comprises a receptacle member having a &ldquo;handle-like&rdquo; portion with a hollow cavity at one end for receipt of the foodstuff. An elongated, &ldquo;handle-like&rdquo; pusher member is pivotably connected to the opposite end of the receptacle member and is arranged to be pressed down by the user squeezing on the device for pushing the foodstuff toward an outlet of the cavity. A cutting member is provided for slicing or grating the foodstuff and is releasably mounted immediately adjacent the receptacle's outlet. The cutting member is arranged to be pulled across the receptacle's out by an actuator lever mounted on the handle-like portion of the receptacle member. The cutting member is a planar panel having at least one a slicing blade offset parallel slightly therefrom on one side of the planar panel, and at least one grating blade offset at angle to the panel on the opposite side as the slicing blade. The cutting member is arranged to be releasably mounted on the device adjacent the cavity's outlet with either the slicing blade(s) or grating blades(s) oriented toward the outlet to slice or grate the foodstuff, as the case may be. The cutter member cuts or grates the portion of the foodstuff forced out of the outlet as the blade is drawn across the outlet by squeezing the actuator lever. The actuator lever is spring-biased to enable the cutter blade to automatically return to a neutral or extended position with respect to the outlet upon release of the actuator lever. The pusher member includes an offset end arranged to enter into the cavity and that end has a textured surface to engage the foodstuff and prevent it from slipping on its way to the outlet.

The invention is a rack having a pair of opposed upright columns between which rolls of wallpaper may be held upon dowel rods for unrolling. Below the dowel rods a unit is mounted between the columns. The unit includes a cutter guide member which is raisable relative to an underlying support, whereby paper may be drawn from a roll beneath the cutter guide member and over the support. The cutter guide member serves as a guide along which a knife may be drawn to cut from the roll a section of paper resting upon the support with a straightedge. And the principal components of the rack are held together by four bolts, whereby the rack may be readily knocked-down to its components upon removal of the bolts. The knocked-down components are light in weight, and may be piled together into a compact flat pack for manual portage and subsequent reassembly.
