Uni-molded pacifier includes nipple, stem, shield and typically a handle. The stem includes a round surface, as in classically designed pacifiers, or may be orthodontically shaped, extending proximally and longitudinally into a base which in turn is blended into a shield. Change in the base to stem contact angle lowers the applied force to the stem as compared to traditional pacifier stems and bases. The decrease in applied force to the stem equates to less pressure needed to compress the stem thru sucking activity. The shield, in this uni-molded pacifier, also has an increase in the area and mass of the center surface. This decreases diameter of the posterior mouth of the shield opening to a lumen of the base and stem which has an added benefit to make it more difficult for debris to enter the lumen. If desired there is no posterior mouth.

Pacifier

The present invention provides an intubation device including a nasal endotracheal tube having a proximal, relative to a person inserting the nasal endotracheal tube, end and a distal end; and an introducer including an elongated member having a proximal open end and a distal blunt end, the introducer proximal open end including a hollow mouth having sidewalls for receiving and holding the distal end of the endotracheal tube. The dilator/introducer is simply a tube, solid or hollow having a hollow proximal end that will hold a distal end of a nasal endotracheal tube in place. It will act as a dilator, and once the distal end of the endotracheal tube is past the nasopharynx and is visualized in the oropharynx, the 'dilator' is removed and typically discarded. A method of use of the intubation device is also disclosed.

Atraumatic introducer for nasal endotracheal tubes and its method of use

A pacifier includes a nipple, a shield and a handle. The nipple comprises a pair of wings extending longitudinally along a bulbous end of the nipple. The wings allow for air to exit and enter the space between the palate and the nipple to prevent a vacuum therebetween. Alternatively, the nipple has a channel system comprising a series of holes on the surface of the nipple, some contacting the palate, to also allow the air to enter and exit the space between the palate and the nipple. The stem of the nipple may also have a transverse hole which receives the baby teeth to prevent an open bite.

Apparatus and method for opening circuit breakers in a circuit are disclosed. The apparatus includes input terminals adapted to be connected to the circuit, a switch and a load. When the apparatus is connected to the circuit and the switch is closed, a current is created in the circuit which overloads the circuit breaker. The apparatus also includes a fuse to protect the device and a LED to indicate when the device is in use. The apparatus can also include multiple loads to be able to create the overload in different circuits.

Circuit breaker tester

A staple gun having a rotating lower housing is disclosed. The staple gun has top and lower housings that include a cylindrical section. A cylindrical driver mechanism is housed in the cylindrical sections of the top and lower housings. The lower housing preferably includes a staple magazine. When using the staple gun, the lower housing, the staples in the staple magazine and the driver mechanism rotate together allowing the operation of the staple gun at a plurality of angles.
