A coal tar emulsion driveway sealer is packaged in a sealed bag. The volume of sealer is less than half the capacity of the bag and the bag is substantially completely evacuated but for the sealer. The separated sealer is mixed by compressing the sides of the bag to induce turbulent flow of the paste and liquid for hydraulic mixing thereof. The sealer may be dispensed at a controlled rate without spattering by cutting a corner from the bag to provide a pour spout. The bag with the sealer may be contained in a carton. The bag membrane comprises an aluminum layer vapor deposited on polyester. Those two layers are sandwiched between layers of EVA copolymer.

A method is disclosed for forming a porous shaped body from rubber-like particles. The resulting shaped body is capable of retaining relatively large amounts of a liquid, such as ink, within its pores. Retained liquids can be controllably dispensed from the porous body by bringing it into pressure contact with a receptor surface.

A process for treating the organic fraction of solid waste material with acid at an elevated temperature to form an embrittled material reducible to a powdered fuel having a caloric value and weight (on a dry basis) essentially equivalent to the waste material from which it was formed. The density of the fuel may be materially increased over that of the original waste material without the expenditure of excessive energy such as would be required in the grinding of untreated waste. The resulting fuel can be used alone or in combination with other fuels including fossil fuels in gas, liquid or solid form.
