The endoscopic device includes a main member having a front slot and a shaft member having a spiral strip selectively running through the slot. The spiral strip is connected to a rotational element whose front end is provided with an optical element. A camera support element is extended from the main member and a camera element is supported by the camera support element. By running the spiral strip through the slot to turn the rotational element and the optical element, a viewing direction of the camera element is altered by the optical element.

Endoscopic device having a rotational optical element

A semiconductor Schottky rectifier built in an epitaxial semiconductor layer over a substrate has an anode structure and a cathode structure extending from the surface of the epitaxial layer. The cathode contact structure has a trench structure near the epi-layer and a vertical sidewall surface covered with a gate oxide layer. The cathode structure further comprises a polysilicon element adjacent to the gate oxide layer.

A structure includes a goggles body including rim sections and temple sections, an imaging device arranged between the rim sections, light-emitting elements arranged on an outer edge of the rim sections, and an electricity supply element, a control module, a storage device, and a data transmission device arranged in the temple sections. A server host device is also included. The server host device includes a wireless transmission module, a recognition processing module, and a driving processing element. As such, a surgeon may wear the goggles body in a surgical operation to acquire supplemented lighting in the eyesight range and a function of recording the entire process of the surgical operation. The surgeon may take a motion of a predetermined hand gesture to issue a control instruction corresponding thereto in order to execute the control instruction on a medical device to allow the surgeon to control hardware necessary for the operation.

Structure of goggles

A controller for controlling a plurality of serially-connected LED strings includes a reference voltage generator configured to generate a plurality of reference voltages. The reference voltage generator is further configured to vary the plurality of reference voltages based on a sampled voltage signal. The sampled voltage signal can include one or both of a peak voltage of the rectified input AC voltage and a peak voltage of an LED diode forward voltage Vf. The controller further includes a plurality of linear regulators, each linear regulator coupled between a cathode of a corresponding LED string and a common current sense node, and each linear regulator is configured to regulate a current through a corresponding LED string according to a corresponding reference voltage.

Constant current linear driver with high power factor

Disclosed are module connectors for flexible photovoltaic modules. A module connector may include a clamp and an insert configured to be inserted into the clamp. The insert may have an insert body, an electrical lead and an electrical connector. The clamp may have a body portion with a recess configured to receive the insert body, a first clamping portion configured to clamp a second portion of the electrical connector to connect it to the body portion, and a second clamping portion with a first clamping surface configured to contact a first sheet of the module and a second clamping surface configured to contact a second sheet of the module. The second clamping portion may be configured to connect the clamp to the module such that the clamp overlaps and extends around a part of the first sheet, a part of the module's exterior edge surface, and a part of the second sheet.

Methods and circuits for controlling one or more LEDs are disclosed. In one embodiment, a light emitting diode (LED) driver for driving one or more serially connected LEDs includes a voltage regulator circuit configured to receive a rectified AC voltage, where the voltage regulator circuit includes a depletion device configured to generate an unregulated voltage using the rectified AC voltage, a band gap voltage reference circuit configured to generate one or more reference voltages using the unregulated voltage, and a current setting circuit configured to control the one or more serially connected LEDs using the one or more reference voltages, where the current setting circuit is connected to a circuit ground through a current setting resistor having a fixed resistance value.

Methods and circuits for controlling LEDs are disclosed. In one embodiment, a multistage driver for driving a plurality of serially connected LEDs includes a voltage regulator circuit configured to receive a rectified AC voltage, where the voltage regulator circuit includes a depletion device configured to generate a unregulated voltage using the rectified AC voltage, a band gap voltage reference circuit configured to generate a plurality of reference voltages using the unregulated voltage, and a current setting circuit configured to control the plurality of serially connected LEDs using the plurality of reference voltages.

Methods and circuits for controlling LEDs are disclosed. In one embodiment, the light emitting diode (LED) integrated circuit controller includes a voltage regulator circuit configured to operate with an alternating current (AC) power source, where the voltage regulator circuit includes a depletion device configured to receive a varying AC voltage and to generate a unregulated voltage, and a band gap voltage reference circuit configured to received the unregulated voltage and to generate a substantially constant direct current (DC) voltage. The LED integrated circuit controller further includes a current setting circuit configured to receive the substantially constant DC voltage and to provide a substantially constant direct current to drive a series of light emitting diodes, and a second depletion device configured to protect the LED integrated circuit controller from external high voltages.

A power FET and a replica FET on a semiconductor chip coupled to a logic control circuit on a second semiconductor chip within a single housing. A power FET and a scaled down replica of the power FET are disposed on a semiconductor chip. The power FET is used as a switch to couple a DC power source to a load. A fraction of the power FET drain current passes through the replica FET and an external resistance. When the voltage across the external resistance exceeds a maximum value based upon the maximum allowable power FET drain current, the logic control circuit enters into a pulsed gate (PG) mode of operation. The first step in the PG mode is to switch both FETs into a non-conducting state for a predefined period of time. After this time period, a ramp voltage applied between gate and source of both FETs will switch them back into a current conducting state while holding the power FET drain current below its upper limit in the presence of a high capacitance load. If the voltage across the external resistance increases above the maximum, the PG mode of operation continues. PG mode of operation ceases and normal operation follows when the external resistance voltage remains below the established maximum. The combination of predefined nonconducting time and maximum drain current ensures operation of the power FET below maximum power dissipation limits. The PG mode of operation eliminates the need for additional temperature and thermal control circuits.
