Aspects of the present disclosure include systems, methods, and devices for routing communications that ingress into a telecommunications network by appending a virtualized trunk group identifier or other customer identifying number within a Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) messages associated with the communications. In one particular embodiment, a user field within header information of SIP messages may be appended with a trunk group identifier unique to a particular customer device providing the communication to the network. Specifically, a customer premise device (such as an integrated access device (IAD)) may be configured to append a customer-specific trunk group identifier number into a portion of a header of a SIP message of the communication. The call and associated SIP message information, including the appended trunk group ID, may then be routed to a host routing device.

The method includes receiving a subscription request from a subscriber, the subscription request identifying a targeted user to be monitored, monitoring communication sessions in which the targeted user is a participant, to detect SIP events corresponding to state transitions associated with the communication sessions. A system for facilitating surveillance of a targeted user includes an API operable to receive a subscription request from a third party subscriber, the subscription request identifying the targeted user, wherein the third party subscriber is not a participant in the one or more communication sessions, and a SIP events monitoring module operable to detect one or more predetermined SIP events associated with the communication sessions based on the subscription request and notify the third party subscriber of the detected SIP events.

Providing SIP signaling data for third party surveillance

Systems and methods for dynamically registering a communication device are disclosed. As one example, a communication network architecture is disclosed that includes multiple feature servers, multiple registration redirect servers (RRSs), and multiple communication devices. The feature servers provide services to the communication devices. The RRSs each service a shared virtual Internet Protocol (IP) address and perform load balancing of registration requests on behalf of multiple feature servers located geographically proximate to the RRS. The communication devices are configured to issue initial registration requests intended for any of the feature servers to the shared virtual IP address, whereby upon issuing an initial registration request, a communication device is directed to a particular feature server that is associated with a RRS that is closest to the communication device, and where the particular feature server is selected by a load balancing routine executing on the RRS.

Implementations described and claimed herein provide systems and methods for managing inventory usage to predict when a pool of available inventory will become exhausted based on past usage trend data. In one implementation, raw usage data is extracted from a first data sample. The first data sample has a first input time, and the raw usage data specifies a total amount of inventory for one or more inventory types. The total amount of inventory is categorized for each of the inventory types into an amount of used inventory and an amount of available inventory. A projected inventory usage for each of the inventory types is generated based on the categorized total amount of inventory. The projected inventory usage defines an availability status of each of the inventory types.
