A vented sleeping bag comprising an elongate shell defining an inner volume sized and shaped to receive a user therein. The shell has a head end, a foot end, left and right sides extending longitudinally of the shell, an overlying portion which overlies the user, and an underlying portion which underlies the user. The overlying portion of the shell has at least one vent. A closure is selectively movable between a closed position for closing the vent and an open position for creating a vent opening for ventilating the inner volume of the shell.

A method, computer program product and system for archiving data from an operational database. Data to be archived from the operational database may be stored either as received or transformed in a manner that allows the transformed archived data to be retrieved bit-for-bit identical to the original input received. Further, the data stored in the archive storage is read-only meaning that the data cannot be updated, deleted or modified. Further, backup copies of each of the storage units, which store the archived data, in the archive storage are created for disaster recovery purposes. Additionally, hash values are computed for each of the storage units in the archive storage which are used to detect unauthorized changes to the data stored in the storage units. In this manner, the authenticity of the data stored in the archive storage may be substantially guaranteed.

A sleeping bag comprising an elongate shell defining a volume sized and shaped to receive a user therein. The shell has an inner layer, an outer layer, insulation between the inner layer and the outer layer, an overlying portion, an underlying portion, a head end, a foot end and left and right lateral sides. The outer layer has stretchable and non-stretchable panels. The stretchable panels are of resilient sheet material and are located in areas of the outer layer corresponding to the shoulders, elbows and knees of the user.

A method and related system for use with an interactive computer for invocation of a computer tool. A tool template and a tool encapsulator are provided for the tool. A tool template is a predetermined representation of processes and data employed to convey program status information to the user and to allow the user to control the program as it executes. In a specific embodiment, a tool template has a plurality of graphical constituents allowing a user to specify data and parameters, to invoke a program, to control execution of the program and to observe execution of the computer program. A tool template is to be used in connection with an encapsulator to allow a user graphical access to data through a display screen. Data is stored in an elementary unit called an object, each object being assigned a 'data kind' to indicate the type of data that is contained within the object. Each object is graphically represented on a display by an icon which is determined by the object's data kind. Objects can be inserted by graphical interaction into a constituent of a tool template called a 'slot'. A slot represents a logical input or output of an underlying tool represented by its tool template.

Method for specifying and controlling the invocation of a computer

An animal restraint cage which comprises a generally rectangular frame equipped with a pair of side panels and stanchion securing means to restrainably retain an animal therewithin. The side panels are adjustably positioned laterally within the frame and are provided with means for tightening the side panels together, such as by means of a winch block or the like. The stanchion means comprises a pair of spaced apart rod members which are designed to contact the restrained animal at a point adjacent the top of the neck and behind the base of the skull. The side panels are provided with axially aligned bores to receive restraint rods to prevent upward movement or jumping of the animal when positioned within the means. If desired, a ramp may be removably positioned between the ground and the platform of the restraint for elevating an animal accessing the restraint.

A protective lubricating composition is provided which will penetrate readily to closely fitting frictional parts but which will turn to a protective, non-migrating lubricating gel in use. Preferred embodiments may contain silicone fluids, extreme pressure compounds and surfactants, and may be combined with solvents and propellants to make a sprayable lubricant composition.

As a work-like extending additive in the case of a two-part room temperature vulcanizable silicone rubber composition, there may be added to the basic ingredients of the composition a low viscosity silanol end-stopped polysiloxane.

Upon impact, a ball is released and radially displaced into an annular space of decreasing thickness. Simultaneously, the ball releases a fluid to an absorbent material. The direction and distance of displacement indicate the direction and magnitude of the impact, and the subsequent migration of the fluid in the absorbent material indicates the elapsed time since the impact.

A silicone composition with controlled rheological properties and a controlled specific gravity that may vary from 1.035 to 1.06 comprising a diorganopolysiloxane and blends of diorganopolysiloxanes which are compatible with each other which polysiloxanes have a viscosity that may vary anywhere from 10,000 to 500,000 centipoise at 25.degree. C, and a filler selected from the class consisting of fumed silica, precipitated silica, fumed silica treated with a silicone compound, precipitated silica treated with a silicone compound. Such compositions may be utilized with blood samples when the blood sample is treated to separate the blood clots from the blood serum which composition forms an integral barrier between such separated blood clots and the blood serum.

A silicone channel sealant with improved solvent and water resistance comprising a diorganopolysiloxane of 50 to 200,000 centipoise viscosity and blends of diorganopolysiloxanes wherein powdered polytetrafluoroethylene, treated and untreated silica filler, a titanate of the formula (RO).sub.4 Ti, where R is selected from alkyl radicals and haloalkyl radicals, and an organic compound containing at least one hydroxy group are present as a water resistance additive. In addition to the above basic ingredients, there can be present in the composition of the present case a silicate, a boron compound, styrene beads, a polyether, and optionally as a corrosion resistant additive such as, zinc chromium salts or iron oxide. The above channel sealant which is desirable as a channel sealant for fuel tanks of aircraft has the advantageous properties that it is both solvent resistant, water resistant, has good consistency and does not flow at low pressures but is easily injectable.
