An annular water removal system (AWRS) for an air cycle environmental control system (ECS) includes a line replaceable unit (LRU) configured to output air flow, and a water collector coupled to the LRU. The water collector includes an upper portion and a lower portion. The upper portion includes a coalescing unit having a collector inlet to receive the air flow and configured to coalesce moisture from the air flow output from the LRU. The lower portion includes a collection unit in fluid communication with the coalescing unit. The collection unit is configured to collect the moisture coalesced by the coalescing unit.

A heat exchanger includes a header and an annular core fluidly connected to the header. The annular core includes an inner diameter, an outer diameter, first flow channels arranged in a first set of layers, and second flow channels arranged in a second set of layers and interleaved with the first flow channels. Each of the first flow channels includes a first inlet, a first outlet, and a first axial region extending between the first inlet and the first outlet. Each of the second flow channels includes a second inlet, a second outlet, and a second axial region extending between the second inlet and the second outlet.

A method of manufacturing a cold plate includes forming a fluid circuit on a build surface in a layer-by-layer fashion from a build material. The fluid circuit includes a plurality of peripheral walls, each of the plurality of peripheral walls at least partially defining a primary channel, a longitudinally one of the peripheral walls being formed to include apertures configured to permit excess build material to pass therethrough. A central wall of the fluid circuit at least partially defines the primary channel and a plurality of secondary channels fluidly connected to the primary channel. The method further includes removing excess build material through the apertures.

A heat exchanger including a plurality of tubes, a header, and a plurality of flow voids. The plurality of tubes extends in a first direction through which a first fluid is configured to flow. Each of the plurality of tubes have waves that repeat at regular intervals along the first flow direction and are spaced from one another vertically and laterally in the second direction. The header extends in the first direction and is attached to each of the plurality of tubes. The header is configured to convey the first fluid to each of the plurality of tubes. The plurality of flow voids are formed between the plurality of tubes. The plurality of flow voids extend in a second direction through which a second fluid is configured to flow such that the second fluid is in thermal contact with the plurality of tubes.

An outlet manifold is provided and includes an outlet portion having first and second sides and an inlet portion to which the outlet portion is fluidly coupled. The inlet portion has first and second sides corresponding to the first and second sides of the outlet portion. Each of the first and second sides of the inlet portion includes one or more tubular members connectable with corresponding tube joints and a mixing chamber fluidly interposed between each of the one or more tubular members and the outlet portion.
