An apparatus for accurately cutting a multi-view print from a sheet of print material is disclosed comprised of a lower body portion and a cutter blade residing in the lower body portion. The cutter blade has a cutting outline corresponding to the outline of the to be cut multi-view print. An upper body portion is rigidly positioned with respect to the lower body portion and has a first opening therethrough corresponding to the outline of the cutter blade and second openings that are defined by the upper body portion for receiving a user's fingers so as to enable the movement of a sheet of print material when positioned between the upper and the lower body portions whereby a lenticular or barrier type cover sheet, positioned in the first opening, permits viewing of the multi-view print to enable the guiding of the sheet of print material into accurate alignment with the cover sheet prior to cutting with the cutter blade.

A method and apparatus for conditioning a previously developed photosensitive material. The method includes subjecting the photosensitive material to a liquid bath prior to scanning or printing the photosensitive material and the apparatus includes a second processing path for subjecting the previously developed photosensitive material to only some of the processing baths used for processing an undeveloped exposed photosensitive material.

Method and apparatus for conditioning previously developed filmstrip

A photographic processing apparatus and method for processing a photosensitive material. The apparatus comprises a processing tank containing a processing solution through which a photosensitive material is passed for processing. A transport system is provided for transporting of the photosensitive material through the processing solution contained with the tank. The transport system includes at least one transport roller which is partially submerged in the processing solution. The replenishment system includes a dispensing tube for dispensing the replenishment solution directly on the transport roller, such that the replenishment solution is on the roller.

A processing apparatus for processing of a photographic material, the apparatus comprises a first processing tank containing a first processing solution; a second processing tank containing a second processing solution; and a heat exchange system having a heat exchange fluid, which is independent of the first and second solutions and a temperature of which is controlled independent of the first and second solutions, for cooling of the first processing solution contained in the first processing tank and heating of the processing solution contained in the second processing tank.

Photographic processor having an externally controlled heat exchange

Minilab paper processors are known for giving an exposure to photographic paper, processing the exposed paper and then drying the paper to produce photographic prints corresponding to negative filmstrips. Such processors have a second entry slot to the processing stage thereof through which a test strip can be introduced for processing. Described herein is an adapter for utilizing the second entry slot to supply paper for processing in the processor which has been exposed in apparatus other than that processor. The adapter comprises an elongate portion, which engages with the second entry slot of the processor section, a central slot, and a recess, lined with velvet plush material to ensure that the connection is light-tight, for receiving a cassette containing a roll of previously exposed photographic paper. One end of the cassette has an elongate protrusion having a slot formed therein and through which the paper can pass. The protrusion engages with the recess in adapter so that slot is aligned with slot to allow paper to pass from the cassette and into the processor section. A pair of guides are located beneath entry slot to guide the paper into drive rollers of the processor section.

Adapter for use with a photographic processing apparatus

A method and apparatus for processing a photosensitive material through at least one processing solution for processing of a photosensitive material. The apparatus includes a transport mechanism for providing moving of the photosensitive material through the processor. A heater is provided in the processing tank for localized heating of the photosensitive material passing through the processing solution.

A processing apparatus for processing of photographic material, the apparatus comprises a first plurality of successive processing tanks, each containing a processing solution. The plurality of first tanks form a first processing path for a first photographic material. A second plurality of successive processing tanks, each containing a processing solution, form a second processing path for processing a second photographic material. The first and second plurality of tanks are disposed adjacent each other. A first transport system drives the first photographic material through the first processing path, and a second transport system drives the second photographic material through the second processing path. A single common drive drives both said first and second transport systems.

An apparatus for processing a photosensitive material. The apparatus has a narrow processing channel for containing a processing solution for processing a photographic material. The processing channel has an inlet and an outlet. An entrance fluid retention area is provided adjacent the inlet and an exit fluid retention area is provided adjacent the outlet. A fluid balancing channel is provided which extends between said entrance fluid retention area and said exit fluid retention area.

An apparatus for processing a photosensitive material. The apparatus comprises a narrow processing channel for containing a processing solution for processing of a photographic material passing through the processing channel. A discharge nozzle is provided in the processing channel for dispensing of processing solution against the photographic material as it passes through the processing channel. A step is provided in the processing channel for lifting the leading edge of the photosensitive material from the bottom surface of the processing channel such that the photosensitive material will pass easily by the discharge nozzle.

A modular photographic processor for processing a photosensitive material. The processor comprising a modular processing section containing at least one removable processing tank for holding a processing solution therein, the removable processing tank having an outlet port and an inlet port, and a modular recirculation system having a first end and a second end. The first end being connected to the inlet port by a first fluid connection and the second end being connected to the outlet port by a second fluid connection. The recirculation system including at least one replaceable fluid processing component which is connected to the recirculation system by a fluid connection, and the replaceable tank and/or component being configured such that they may be easily stacked together to minimize space and provide stability when stacked.

Photographic processor and method of operation

A modular photographic processor for processing a photosensitive material. The processor comprising a modular processing section containing at least one removable processing tank for holding a processing solution therein, the at least removable processing tank having an outlet port and an inlet port, and a modular recirculation system having a first end and a second end. The first end being connected to the inlet port by a first fluid connection and the second end being connected to the outlet port by a second fluid connection. The recirculation system including at least one replaceable fluid processing component which is connected to the recirculation system by a fluid connection. Controls are provide for designating operation of the apparatus for a preselected processing chemicals designed for a particular photosensitive material for preventing operation of the apparatus when the photosensitive material being processed is not compatible with processing solution contained with the at least one processing tank. Override controls are also provided for overriding the preventing of operation of the apparatus.

A modular photographic processor for processing a photosensitive material and a diverting assembly for use therewith. The processor comprising a processing section containing at least one removable processing tank for holding a processing solution therein, said removable processing tank having an outlet port and an inlet port, and a modular recirculation system having a first end and a second end. The first end being connected to said inlet port by a first fluid connection and said second end being connected to said outlet port by a second fluid connection The processing section having at least two distinct photosensitive processing paths, one path designed to process photosensitive material according to a first processing chemicals and said second path designed to process photosensitive material having a second processing chemicals. The at least one processing tank having two fluid containing section each capable of containing a different processing solution. The diverting assembly control which processing tank the photosensitive materials will pass through.

A modular photographic processor for processing a photosensitive material comprising a plurality of replaceable modular processing sections. The processor is made to be adjustable in size such that it can accommodate any desired number of replaceable processing stations.

A photographic processor comprising a processing section having at least one removable processing tank containing a processing solution therein. The processing tank has an access opening, an outlet port and an inlet port. A recirculation system is also provided having a first inlet end and a second outlet end. The first inlet end is connected to the outlet port of the removable processing tank by a first substantially dripless valve connection, and the second outlet end is connected to the inlet port of the at least one removable processing tank by a second substantially dripless valve connection. A cover is provided for mating with the access opening of the at least one removable processing tank such that the processing tank can be moved without spilling the processing solution contained therein through the access opening.

A photographic processor comprising a processing section having a first predetermined location designed to receive a first removable processing tank containing a first predetermined type processing solution designated for the first predetermined location. The processor further includes a second predetermined location designed to receive a second removable processing tank containing a second type processing solution designated for the second location. The first type processing solution being different from the second type processing solution. The first and second removable processing tanks each having an access opening, an outlet port and an inlet port. The processor also includes a recirculation system connected to the inlet port and the outlet port of each of the removable processing tanks for recirculating the processing solution contained therein. The tank has a configuration which prevents placement of the removable processing tank containing a particular processing solution at a location designated to receive a tank containing a different type processing solution.
