Disclosed herein is system for providing simultaneous machine vision illumination control and human vision illumination control. The system includes a first illumination control output that is configured to provide first illumination timing information for a first illumination source. The system also includes a second illumination control output configured to provide second illumination timing information for a second illumination source. The first illumination source is configured to provide a first frequency band of illumination for machine vision. The second illumination source is configured to provide a second frequency band of illumination for human vision. The first and second frequency bands are mutually exclusive. A related system is also disclosed herein.

Infrared and broad spectrum illumination for simultaneous machine vision and human vision

Disclosed herein are methods, systems, and devices for providing illumination in harsh environments having airborne floating debris. In one embodiment, an illumination device includes an enclosure having a pinhole and a light source positioned within the enclosure. The light source is configured to provide illumination external of the enclosure via the pinhole. The enclosure is configured for providing a first gas flow exiting the pinhole. The first gas flow prevents any of the airborne floating debris from entering the pinhole. In another embodiment, a method is disclosed. The method includes providing illumination via a pinhole of an enclosure comprising a light source and providing a first gas flow exiting the pinhole. The first gas flow prevents float airborne debris from entering the pinhole.

Methods, systems, and devices for providing uniform illumination in the presense of floating airborne debris

A computer implemented method is disclosed herein for monitoring and determining a quality level of incoming raw material from one or more sources. The method includes (1) receiving visual data associated with the incoming raw material; (2) determining an indication of quality level associated with the incoming raw material; and (3) transmitting, to at least one of a graphical user interface (GUI) and a computer log, the indication of quality level and at least one timestamp associated with the visual data. The visual data may include a plurality of images received from one or more cameras configured for monitoring the incoming raw material. A related system is also disclosed herein.

A method for identifying defects in a web of material is provided. The method may include monitoring one or more characteristics of a web translating along a travel path. The one or more characteristics may include one of position, speed of travel, and direction of travel. The method may include identifying a candidate for a defect by detecting one or more deviations in the web at a first time frame. The method may include monitoring one or more characteristics of the candidate for a defect at one or more subsequent time frames. The method may include determining whether the candidate is a defect by comparing the one or more characteristics of the candidate at one or more subsequent time frames to the one or more characteristics of the web. A related system is also provided.
