A face cradle cover for a massage table is a seamless, one-piece cover made from a flat cotton sheet cut to form a panel of material that is bilaterally symmetrical forming two lobes with top, bottom and intermediate portions, the top portions together spanning the head end of the cover and the bottom and intermediate portions being separated by a narrow slit and a medial opening, respectively. A narrow slit extends inward from the heel edge of the panel to the medial opening. A thin elastic strip extends around the external periphery of the panel from one side of the slit to the other side of the slit. A soft stitch or overlock serging extends internally around the medial opening from one end of the elastic strip to the other end of the elastic strip.

A rebound training device includes a frame, a footboard, and a plurality of resilient elements extending between and attached to the frame and the footboard to support the footboard above a supporting surface. A user standing on the footboard manually effects repeated vertical bouncing movement between upper and lower positions. The distance traveled by the footboard, the effort required to effect movement, and the stability thereof may be modified by selectively modifying the number, the length, the position, or the elasticity of the resilient members.

A handheld massage device that may be employed to provide therapeutic massage to a user's backside includes a user-grippable, generally hook-shaped handle and a massage tool mounted at one end thereof. The massage tool has a plurality of body-contacting work elements that may be selectively moved into operative position and locked in place. A releasable, spring-loaded locking mechanism is provided between the handle and the massage tool so that the tool is locked in position when engaged and unlocked and rotatable when disengaged. The handle may be formed as an integral piece or in segments that can be assembled in end-to-end relation or disassembled and compactly folded for storage. In segmented form, a resilient line may extend internally within tubular segments between the respective end segments to securely hold the handle segments together and cooperating parts axially and rotationally align the separable segments when assembled.

A handheld massage tool includes a body with at least three contact elements spaced circumferentially therearound for engaging a recipient of therapy. The body has shoulder segments extending between adjacent contact elements enabling the user to grip the tool and manipulate a non-adjacent, opposed contact element. The contact elements may take the form of a narrow point, a broad point, or a wedge. To aid in massage therapy, the massage tool has significant weight, has an elastomeric or similar coating providing a non-abrasive outer surface and is formed with rounded edges and suitably curved contours.

Massage tool

A massage tool for use in performing an ice massage including an anchor extending from the bottom of a base for extending into a mold for receiving a block of ice. The massage tool includes a handle by which the tool can be manipulated, which provides thermal isolation from the ice attached to the tool. The tool is weighted to reduce the amount of additional force needed to apply the desired pressure during the massage, thereby reducing hand and muscle fatigue of the therapist providing the massage.

Massage tool for use in applying a cold treatment

A treatment tool and method of using the same are provided for treating soft tissue by the application of pressure to muscles used in various therapeutic techniques such as trigger point, friction, effleurage and muscle stripping. In one embodiment, the present invention comprises a massage tool having a shaft of a predetermined length and one or more ring members associated with the shaft member for providing muscle stripping and other therapy. The massage tool is of a weight sufficient to assist the therapist in delivering therapy. In another embodiment, the present invention comprises a paddle formed in one end of the shaft. In another embodiment, the massage tool of the present invention has a point member formed in a second end of the shaft for providing trigger point and other therapy.
