An apparatus that is usable with a well includes a first component and a second component. The first component is adapted to dissolve at a first rate, and the second component is adapted to contact the first component to perform a downhole operation and dissolve at a second rate that is different from the first rate.

Downhole component having dissolvable components

A dissolvable bridge plug configured with components for maintaining anchoring and structural integrity for high pressure applications. These components may substantially dissolve to allow for ease of plug removal following such applications. The plug may effectively provide isolation in a cased well for applications generating over about 8,000-10,000 psi. At the same time, by employment of a dissolve period for the noted components, such a plug may be drilled-out in less than about 30 minutes, even where disposed in a lateral leg of the well.

Dissolvable bridge plug

An embodiment may take the form of a method usable with a well including pumping an untethered object into the well to land on a restriction downhole in the well and using the restriction to trigger release of an agent carried by the object into the well. Another embodiment may take the form of an apparatus usable with a well having a solid object adapted to be pumped into the well and an agent to be adapted to be released from the solid object in response to the solid object landing on a restriction in the well.

Delivering an agent into a well using an untethered object

A technique provides for stimulating or otherwise treating multiple intervals/zones of a well by controlling flow of treatment fluid via a plurality of flow control devices. The flow control devices are provided with internal profiles and flow through passages. Mechanical darts are designed for engagement with the internal profiles of specific flow control devices, and each mechanical dart may be moved downhole for engagement with and activation of the specific flow control device associated with that mechanical dart.

Completion method for stimulation of multiple intervals

A technique provides for stimulating or otherwise treating multiple intervals/zones of a well by controlling flow of treatment fluid via a plurality of flow control devices. The flow control devices are provided with internal profiles and flow through passages. Hydraulic darts are designed for selective engagement with the internal profiles of specific flow control devices, and each hydraulic dart may be moved downhole for engagement with and activation of a specific flow control device.

An isolation element includes a body having at least one sealing surface, an internal cavity within the body, and a chemical agent disposed within the internal cavity. The chemical agent is configured to substantially increase a rate of degradation of the body.

Oilfield isolation element and method

A downhole trigger mechanism and method for using the same are provided. The downhole trigger mechanism can include at least two contact points spaced a longitudinal distance from one another. The trigger mechanism can be actuated when the contact points of the trigger mechanism are simultaneously contacted by at least two contact points of an actuator. The contact points of the actuator can be spaced a longitudinal distance from one another.

Triggering mechanism discriminated by length difference

A device for varying the displacement of a variable displacement bent axis unit includes a one-piece yoke having a bucket portion adapted to carry a cylinder block kit of the bent axis unit, a trunnion bearing portion for swing control on one side of the bucket portion, and a trunnion portion for fluid porting on the other side of the bucket portion. The bucket portion has a bottom wall, a continuous side wall, and an open top. Inside the yoke is a pair of fluid passages intersecting the interior of the bucket portion and extending separately and entirely within the bottom wall and the side wall before opening onto the trunnion portion for fluid porting.

The handle bar of each aid is held in one hand and the person plants the bottom of the feet on the floor and does the pushup. The aid has a handle bar which is inclined at an angle of about 30.degree..+-.5.degree. with respect to the bottom surface of the aid which supports it to permit back and forth push up type motion.
