A cooling system for a vehicle including an air duct having an inlet funnel configured to connect to a vehicle grill, a heat-exchanger seat defining an outlet window, and an upper panel extending from the inlet funnel over top of the outlet window. The upper panel defines an intake. At least one heat exchanger is received on the heat-exchanger seat. A cooling fan assembly is disposed under the at least one heat exchanger and includes a shroud and a fan.

Vehicle cooling system

A cooling fan module may include a fan assembly and a shroud. The fan assembly including a number of fan blades and the shroud including a first sidewall and a first ring. The first sidewall defining an opening and the first ring extending in an axial direction from the first sidewall. The first ring including an inner periphery provided with a number of first serrations, each serration of the number of first serrations extending in a radial direction. The radial direction is substantially orthogonal to the axial direction.

Cooling fan module

The cooling pack assembly includes, a shroud, a fan, a first heat exchanger, and a second heat exchanger. The shroud has a plurality of sidewalls including a main sidewall. The shroud further defines an aperture. The fan is disposed within the aperture. The fan is configured to rotate about a rotational axis. The rotational axis is normal to a plane defined by the main sidewall. The first heat exchanger is disposed on at least one of the plurality of sidewalls. The first heat exchanger has a first cross-sectional area substantially parallel to the plane. The second heat exchanger is disposed on at least one the plurality of sidewalls. The second heat exchanger has a second cross-sectional area substantially parallel to the plane. The second cross-sectional area is less than the first cross-sectional area, and the first heat exchanger is disposed between the fan and the second heat exchanger.

Cooling pack assembly

The fan assembly provided with a fan ring, including a first leg and a second leg, may be arranged with a shroud that may include a first sidewall, a second sidewall, a third sidewall, a first ring, a second ring, and a third ring. An air passage may be formed between a distal end of the first leg and the third ring, the second ring and the first leg, the second leg and the second sidewall, and a distal end of the first leg and the first ring. The air passage may be configured to improve acoustic performance and air flow efficiency.
