A turntable for storing one or more items, including a base having a first diameter and a top rotatably coupled to the base and having a second diameter and a surface for storing the one or more items. The first dimension is larger than the second dimension to provide an offset so that objects stored adjacent the base do not interfere with rotation of the top.

Turntable

A dish drainer and tray system providing reduced space requirements for packaging, shipping, display and storage. The tray may be compacted into storage size which allows it to fit in the drainer, thereby allowing the drainer rather than the combination to determine the space requirements. In one embodiment, the tray folds about one or more live hinges, and in a second embodiment the tray rolls and includes a closure to maintain it in the rolled position. A particularly preferred embodiment includes a detachable silverware compartment that drains directly into the sink and which can be stored with the tray in the drainer.

A modular enclosure including first channels and a plurality of second and third channels which intersect the first channel at an angle, and a plurality of panels, each including a wall member and edge members pivotally coupled to the wall member. The wall members are configured to engage the first channel and the edge members are configured to engage the second and third channels. A method of assembling a modular enclosure is also disclosed, including providing a base including first channels, second channels, and third channels, providing a plurality of side panels each having a wall member and a first and second edge member pivotally coupled to the wall member, pivoting the first and second edge members so that they are non-parallel to the wall member, and inserting the wall members into the first channel, the first edge member into second channels, and the second edge members into third channels.

Modular enclosure

A container, such as a tool box (10), includes a base portion (11) having an open top and a cover (12) for closing the open top. A plurality of sockets (35) are formed in the cover (12) to receive a bin (13) therein. A bin (13) is maintained in each socket (35) by the interaction of a barb (44) in the socket (35) and a notch (62) in the bin (13), and the interaction of a bump (45) in the socket (36) and a pocket (63) in the bin (13). When in the socket (36) the lid (47) of the bin (13) may be removed therefrom.

A container (10) includes a cover (12) pivotally attached to a base portion (11) by a hinge assembly (24). The hinge assembly (24) includes a pin (28) carried by the base portion (11) and received through an opening (33) in a knuckle (32) carried by the cover (12). The knuckle (32) is rotated on the pin (28) such that when the cover (12) is on the base portion (11), the opening (33) faces generally downwardly, and when the cover (12) is rotated approximately 180 degrees, the opening (33) faces generally upwardly. The hinge assembly (24) also includes spaced lugs (34) carried by the knuckle (32) and spaced resilient stop members (30) carried by the base portion (11). The space between the stop members (30) is less than the space between the lugs (34) such that when the cover (12) is rotated a predetermined distance, the stop members (30 ) engage the lugs (34), but if the cover (12) is rotated further than the predetermined distance, the stop members (30) flex to release the lugs (34) so that the lugs (34) can pass between the stop members (30).
