A device described herein, such as a User Equipment ('UE'), may connect to a base station of a wireless network, receive telemetry information associated with a plurality of Non-Terrestrial Network (“NTN”) nodes, identify a particular handover condition, select, based on identifying the particular handover condition, a particular NTN node of the plurality of NTN nodes, initiate a handover procedure from the first base station of the wireless network to the selected particular NTN node, and connect to the particular NTN node based on the handover procedure. The NTN nodes may be implemented by satellites that orbit the Earth.

Systems and methods for conditional handover using non-terrestrial node telemetry information

A MEC relocation service automatically directs user equipment (UE) away from a 'home' multi-access edge computing (MEC) cluster to a different MEC cluster when the home MEC cluster cannot support service while the UE is outside a regional area. A MEC cluster may receive an application service request for MEC services from a UE device outside a regional service area of the MEC cluster. The MEC cluster may determine if service level requirements for the application service request can be met by the MEC cluster. When the service level requirements cannot be met by the network device, the MEC cluster may submit, to a network device, a query for a different MEC cluster in another regional service area. The MEC cluster may establish a direct connection with the different MEC cluster to transfer customer data for the application service request.

Systems and methods for regional assignment of multi-access edge computing resources

A system may be configured to identify that a user device is connected to a first radio access network ('RAN'), via a first technology; and to identify that the user device is capable of accessing a second RAN, via a second technology. The system may further be configured to instruct the user device to concurrently connect to the second RAN and the first RAN, send or receive a first type of traffic via the first RAN, and send or receive a second type of traffic via the second RAN.

Handing over a user device from one technology to another

A system comprising: one or more server devices to: set a first network threshold level for determining network congestion in a network; set rate limiting criteria for determining when one or more subscribers will be rate limited; detect an increase in network congestion at a base station above the first network threshold level; identify one or more subscribers meeting one or more of the rate limiting criteria; rate limit network traffic associated with the one or more subscribers; detect a decrease in network congestion at the base station below a second network threshold level; and remove the rate limiting of the network traffic associated with the one or more subscribers.

Dynamically provisioning subscribers to manage network traffic

A mobile device may receive user input for requesting personal information for a subject in proximity of a mobile device and based on the user input, selecting one of available functions. The functions may include a first function for obtaining personal information using a first identifier. The functions may also include a second function for obtaining the personal information using the first identifier. The mobile device may output the personal information as an image to a display or as speech to speaker.

Personal assistant application

A device may receive information associated with establishing a gateway connection. The gateway connection may be an ad hoc connection to a user device that permits the user device to transfer network traffic to/from a base station via another user device and without the user device directly connecting to the base station via a radio access network. The information being associated with determining that a gateway establishment condition is satisfied. The device may cause the gateway connection to be established based on the information associated with establishing the gateway connection. The device may cause the user device to utilize the gateway connection to transfer network traffic to/from the base station.

Providing a network gateway for user devices

A device searches for a primary access network, and acquires the primary access network. The device also requests a service provided by a network connected to the primary access network, and attaches to the primary access network only when the service is requested by the device.

Methods and systems are configured for accessing content supported wireless communications services. A method for obtaining non-subscription access to a network may include sending a request to access a network, and determining if subscription access to the network was granted. When subscription access is not granted, the method may further include receiving terms for non-subscription access to the network upon determining subscription access was not granted, determining if the received terms for non-subscription access were accepted, and then receiving advertising content and non-subscription access to the network in response to determining the terms for non-subscription access were accepted.

Content supported wireless communication service

A server may be configured to receive behavior information associated with a user device. The behavior information may indicate a set of geographical locations at which the user device has been present. The server may generate a mode based on the behavior information. The mode may indicate a set of conditions based on which the mode is to be activated, and a set of information to be presented when the mode is activated. The server may output the mode to the user device. The user device may determine, after receiving the mode, that the set of conditions has been satisfied. The determining may be based on a geographical location of the user device. The user device may activate the mode, based on determining that the set of conditions has been satisfied; and may present at least a portion of the set of information, based on activating the mode.

Presenting information based on user profiles

A system may be configured to determine a floor of a building in which the user device is located at a time a call was placed. The information, indicating the determined floor, may be provided to a callee, such as a public safety answering point ('PSAP'). The floor may be determined based on, for example, comparing an altitude of the user device and/or a list of networks or devices that are visible to the user device, to a set of reference information.
