An LED step light may include a junction box. An LED step light may include an LED light head assembly, including: a clip strap, a driver box, a cover, a reflector cover, wherein the clip strap couples together the driver box, the cover, and the reflector cover. An LED step light may include a heat sink reflector, wherein the heat sink reflector is disposed within an interior of the reflector cover. An LED step light may include a pan rotation ring. Focus adjustable LED step light devices

The present invention is directed to a device consisting of a portable and multi-band UV light device that uses a combination of UVA, UVB, and UVC wavelength band of UV emitters. For detection, UV emitters are energized to a particulate collector that will fluoresce and glow when there is the presence of a wide range of different harmful aerosol droplet particles in the air that may be collected. This instant and positive visual detection with an available audio alarm alert indicates the presence of harmful aerosol droplet particles in the vicinity of this Instant Particulate Detector or IPD device, allowing the user to take immediate and corrective action. The user can also subsequently select disinfection utilizing UVC wavelength light to sterilize the particulate collector and Instant Particulate Detector or IPD device.

The present invention may be directed to an improved LED downlight with enhanced features including a multi-adjustable junction box and cover assembly, and arm and hinge mechanisms for better installation and packaging of said improved LED downlight. The versatile configuration of the junction box, mounting plate arm, and hinge mechanisms may allow the entire assembly to be maneuvered over various sized ceiling holes for ease of driver and LED replacement and maintenance. Other features and improvements may include compact compressible and expandable three-piece hangar bar mounting brackets, an integral air-tight box, and/or a system for mounting the improved LED downlight to various ceiling thicknesses. The improved LED downlight may be used in both new construction and remodel retrofit installations, sharing the majority of parts, providing ease and flexibility for the installer.

A shield for protection of the back splash and wall behind a stove, providing an expandable shield suspended behind the stove while the stove is in use, the shield expanded into a deployed position and attached to the wall and secured within an upper shelf upon a support, the shield further stored behind the stove in a contracted position upon a lower shelf of the support, with the support mounted to either the wall behind the stove or upon the stove itself on a rear potion of the stove. The shield may also be used upon the back splash of a sink or other cooking station where protection of the back splash is desired.

A dimmer device for connection to a conventional uninterruptible power supply (UPS) may include a dimmer and a switch assembly that can be configured to provide an automatically switched dimming output to LED loads during a power failure. An integrated emergency backup system may include a charging circuit, a battery, an inverter, a dimmer and a switch circuit that provides an automatically switched dimming output to LED loads during a power failure. The system may operate in either phase dimming mode or 0-10 v low voltage dimming mode. A lighting fixture that includes a light fixture with built-in emergency backup system is also disclosed.

A Shabbat bulb and a related method allows control of illumination without electrical intervention by a person observing strictures of Shabbat orthodox Jewish law. The bulb includes a blackout mechanism with shutter disc having at least one disc aperture for transmission of light and gear teeth; and an arm projecting radially outward from the shutter disc fitted with drive gear teeth. Manual rotation of the arm engages drive gear teeth with shutter disc gear teeth moving the disc apertures from an open to a closed position respectively allowing full or totally no illumination to exit the bulb.

Shabbat bulb with gear controlled blackout mechanism

A Shabbat bulb and a related method is provided allowing control of illumination without electrical intervention by a person observing strictures of Shabbat orthodox Jewish law. The bulb includes a housing covering an electrically operated light source. A blackout mechanism is attached to but easily separable from the housing and has no operating connection with electrical circuitry. The mechanism includes a disc having at least one disc aperture through which light from the light source is transmitted; and an arm projecting radially outward from the disc. Manual movement of the arm from an open position to a closed position respectively allows full or totally no illumination to exit the bulb via the disc.

A lightweight and thermally efficient LED lighting module is disclosed for recessed down light can retrofits, or as new down light installations mountable to different size junction boxes consisting of a combination heat sink and trim ring unitary metal dish for the attachment of at least one LED array mounted to a circuit board, or at least one chip-on-board or COB LED array, further including at least two removable springs or clips, junction box mounting screw clearance holes, an optional external dimmable LED driver, and a diffusion lens cover installed to the front of the LED lighting module.

Lightweight and thermally efficient LED down light

A combined power and data track lighting system includes an elongated track, having a number of longitudinal guide ways for carrying electrically isolated power and data conductors arranged within at least some or the guide ways. An adapter applies power to the power conductors, and another adapter applies control data to the data conductors. An LED luminaire contains LEDs, each of which can generate a discrete color. A data converter converts data on the data lines to control the currents in the individual LEDs to create a desired composite color. Quartz luminaire, Metal-Halide luminaire, Digital Light Processor (DLP) automated computer luminaire, and DMX controlled devices can be supported and controlled through the track, that can be supported on trusses. The main control data is Remote Device Management (RDM) supplied applied to the data conductors.

Power and data track lighting system

A flexible lighting device includes an elongated flexible tube with a translucent tube shell and opposed tube ends and a flexible circuit board set in the tube so that it extends between the tube ends. The flexible circuit board has opposed interior and exterior surfaces. Electrical circuitry is mounted to the circuit board and connected to an external input source and an output source of electrical power. The circuit board defines a number of cut-outs, preferably those of a generally diamond shape. The device is described in two embodiments: one with inwardly directed LEDs on the circuit board directed into the tube and one with outwardly directed LEDs on the circuit board directed out of the tube. The method of making the flexible lighting device is also described.

Flexible LED lighting strip

A lighting system for stage, theatrical and architectural lighting, comprising a frame for supporting a plurality of light emitting diodes. The diodes are mounted to the frame so that each diode is both secured to the frame and also simultaneously positioned wherein each discrete diode light beam is directed to a prescribed remote focal point (target zone) and thereupon directed to a predetermined illumination area. Electrical power for transmitting and controlling electrical voltage to light emitting diodes by electrical circuitry integral with the frame. The frame can be configured as any hollow volume such a cone, a semi-ellipse, and a semi-sphere or can be configured as planar. Flexible blanks having apertures and pads for electrical connections can be used to construct rigid frames. An imaging gate a collimating lens and a focusing lens can be interposed between the frame and the illumination area. The frame can also be a sandwich frame having positive and negative electrically conductive layers interposed between layers of biasable insulating foam.

Diode lighting system

A diode light source system for stage, theatrical and architectural lighting has numerous separate flat, rigid panels for mounting light emitting diodes that emit diode light beams to a common focal area. Each panel is mounted with a group of these diodes, and each has an outer and an inner panel. A screw arrangement selectively positions the panels, with each panel oriented at a selected angle relative to an axis, and with each group of diodes emitting diode light beams transverse to each separate panel. Each inner panel portion is flexibly secured to the screw arrangement. The panels function hold the diodes and act as electrical circuit boards to transmit direct electrical current to the diodes on the panels. The screw arrangement includes an elongated, externally threaded cylinder, with opposed inner and outer ends, rotatably aligned with the axis and mounted on a corresponding internally cylindrical threaded nut.

Variable beam LED light source system

A flexible lighting device, comprising an elongated flexible tube including a translucent tubular shell with opposed tube ends, a flexible helical circuit board positioned in said tube extending between said opposed tube ends, said flexible helical circuit board having an exterior surface spaced from said tubular shell. Electrical circuitry is mounted to the circuit board and is connected to an external input source and an output source of electrical power. A plurality of light emitting diodes (LEDs) is mounted to the exterior surface of the helical circuit board and is electrically connected to the electrical circuitry. The LEDs are positioned adjacent to the tubular wall. The invention includes a method of making the flexible lighting device including providing a parallelogram-shaped flat circuit board having long edges and short edges with acute angles and obtuse angles and further including a stiffening member embedded with said flat circuit board. Electrical circuitry mounted to the flat circuit board and LEDs mounted to the flat circuit board and to the electrical circuitry thereon, are all rolled and extended into a flexible cylindrical circuit board having spaced spirals and gaps that hold the LEDs, and then inserted into the flexible tubular housing. Power input and power output connectors are added to the electrical circuitry of the flexible helical circuit board, and connector end caps are secured to the opposed ends of the tubular housing.

A light source for stage, theatrical and architectural lighting that includes a plurality of separate flat and rigid panels for mounting a plurality of light emitting diodes that emit light beams to a common focus area, each separate panel having grouped diodes of the plurality of diodes, and having inner and outer panel portions. A housing for the panels has a center base portion and an aperture/plane rim transverse to an axis aligned with the center base portion. A first connection flexibly secures each outer panel portion to the rim. A screw positions the panels at selected positions wherein each is oriented at a selected angle relative to the axis and the diodes emit light beams transverse to each separate panel. A second connection flexibly secures each inner panel portion to the screw. The panels hold the diodes and include circuit boards for powering the diodes. The screw is elongated and rotatably aligned with the axis of and threaded to a nut at its outer end portion, and its inner end portion being rotatably mounted to the center base portion.

Variable beam light emitting diode light source system

A modular heat sink adapter (10) is provided which is compact in design and comprises of a highly heat conductive metal (12) with a varying number of extruded fins (14) for the prompt and efficient removal of heat directly off the lamp bases (36) of various types of halogen lamps (32). The primary purpose for the heat sink adapter (10) is to keep lamp base seals (38) from reaching their critical pinch area temperature, thereby prolonging the life and usefulness of the lamps. The major improvement of this device over prior designs is its versatility and ease of use with various types of halogen lamps (32) available from different bulb manufacturers for use in a variety of light fixtures.
