A trigger may be pivotally connected to a frame at or near the top of the trigger. A sear transfer bar may be further provided and is pivotally connected to the frame. The pivot in the trigger is higher within the frame as compared to the pivot of the sear transfer bar. Two balls can be between the trigger and the sear transfer bar. The top of the sear transfer bar has a sear contact. Pulling the trigger in a first direction causes the trigger to rotate in a first direction. The sear transfer bar rotates under force of the trigger. The sear transfer bar and the trigger may rotate in opposite directions. The sear will drop when the sear contact of the transfer bar ceases engagement with the sear, causing the firearm to fire. The trigger assembly has a control arm extending beyond the trigger assembly frame.

Trigger assembly

The present invention relates to a gun trigger for use with a bolt-action gun. The trigger of the present invention has a finger element with an extension and a catch. The catch has a front strap and a rear strap. One or more openings are between the front and rear straps. One or more braces can be across the one or more openings. The trigger also has a head. A socket is formed in the top of the head, and a ball is received within the socket. The height of the ball relative the bottom of the socket can be adjusted. There is practically no friction between the trigger and a sear. The trigger of the present invention may be made by remanufacturing existing conventional triggers.

Gun trigger

The present invention relates to a gun trigger for use with a bolt-action gun. The trigger of the present invention has a finger element with an extension and a catch. The catch has a front strap and a rear strap. One or more openings are between the front and rear straps. One or more braces can be across the one or more openings. The trigger also has a head. A socket is formed in the top of the head, and a ball is received within the socket. The height of the ball relative the bottom of the socket can be adjusted. There is practically no friction between the trigger and a gun receiver bottom. A forward lug is provided to adjust the trigger creep. A rearward lug is provided to adjust trigger over-travel. The trigger of the present invention is made by an abrasive jet machine.

Anti-friction gun trigger

A safety seatbelt which is designed to be worn slack and which is automatically tightened by expansion of a woven retraction tube disposed within a cover tube acting as the seatbelt. The retraction tube has a weave that causes considerable shortening (minimum 50% of length) when expanded and is attached to the cover tube to cause a corresponding section of a flexible lengthwise contraction of the cover tube and thereby shorten the belt. A self-contained gas generator and collision sensor in a belt latch piece socket direct a gas into a bladder tube within the retraction tube to expand the retraction tube and shorten the belt when a collision of a predetermined severity occurs and thereby cause the belt to be tightened.

Automatically tightened seatbelt

An occupant restraint system is disclosed incorporating a cushion structure or air bag having an impermeable external wall and a permeable internal wall with gas passageways therebetween. The air bag is mounted on a pair of gas manifolds having manifold gas ports communicating with the gas passageways in the air bag. Gas generator units are secured to the manifolds and are actuatable through impact signals to create high pressure gas directed through generator nozzles into the manifolds and subsequently into the gas passageways of the air bag. A valve plate supports a plurality of inlet reed valves operating in conjunction with a corresponding plurality of inlet ports to admit ambient air from within the vehicle into the expanding air bag; a pair of bi-level exhaust valves permit the escape of high pressure gas and air from within the air bag into the vehicle interior upon completion of the deployment of the air bag. The exhaust valves restrict the rate of exit of the gas and air from within the air bag when an increase in the internal air bag pressure occurs such as caused by occupant impact.

Occupant restraint system

An arrangement is disclosed for forming an air bag deployment opening in an instrument panel behind which a passenger side air bag is stored, just prior to the time the air bag is deployed, the arrangement including a pressure driven cutting edge cutting through the covering layer at the start of air bag deployment. A pyrotechnic charge ignited by the air bag ignition circuitry is used to develop the pressure, and various devices used to drive the cutting edge, including a flattened tube enclosing the charge and expanded by ignition of the charge. A separate door substrate panel and frame are fit into a preformed opening in the instrument panel, and the tube may be mounted to the door substrate panel, the frame, or a separate membrane.
