Various embodiments of the present disclosure include a consumable capsule containing an active ingredient in at least one compartment movably sealed by a stimuli responsive actuator, and an activation device configured to communicate with the consumable capsule. The activation device is configured to emit a wireless signal to activate the stimuli responsive actuator of the consumable capsule, and the consumable capsule is configured to release the active ingredient into an external environment based on the activation of the stimuli responsive actuator.

Wireless communications system integrating electronics into orally ingestible products for controlled release of active ingredients

A system for characterizing suspended particles in a water treatment facility is disclosed. The system uses an imaging array to take multiple images of the particles in a sample volume. These images are then processed to determine geometrical properties of individual particles in the sample. These geometric properties can then be used to identify properties of the sample volume such as particle volume concentration, particle number concentration, computed particle diameter, gravitational settling velocity, mass concentration, and computed particle volume.

A fishing line reel refill tool includes a collapsible frame adapted to be secured upon a fishing pole and a shaft for holding a fishing line refill spool. The shaft has an enlarged end and a threaded end, and the frame has aligned openings, one of which is threaded for securing the shaft thereto while also frictionally restraining the refill spool against rotation. The frame provides an internal recess for storing the shaft within the frame when the tool is not in use.

Fishing reel refill tool

A fishing reel line refill tool for use with a fishing pole having a reel thereon, and a fishing reel line refill spool, includes a first member having a first and second section, each section being pivotally joined together at one end and having a latching means on the opposite end. The first and second sections form a first closed position wherein the sections abut to form a plurality of holes therethrough of varying diameter size, each of the holes adapted to receive therethrough in a tight friction fit a portion of the extending rod section of the fishing pole, and a second open position wherein the sections are pivotally rotated in opposite directions from their abutting relation of the first closed position. A second member is threadably mated with the first member and extends therefrom. The second member is adapted to receive thereon the refill spool in a rotatable relationship therewith. Tension means is operatively associated with the second member and the refill spool for selectively adjusting the force necessary to rotate the refill spool. The tool may be operated by an individual fisherman without assistance of any other person.
