A seal mountable to the rim of an open mouth container the seal including a resiliently flexible central panel separately formed from and intimately bonded to a substantially rigid peripheral mounting ring adapted to snap-mount to the rim of the container with the central panel being selectively flexible both inward and outward relative to the interior of the container for the accommodation of both overfilled and underfilled conditions through a variation in the head space beneath the mounted seal.

A multi-purpose tongs having a first tong member that includes a grasping end and a hinge end, and a second tong member that includes a grasping end and a hinge end. The first and the second tong members are pivotally connected to one another by a first pin at their hinge ends. A cam is slidably disposed between the first and the second tong member hinge ends. The cam includes a first transverse slot and a second transverse slot having a plurality of incremental and adjacent support surfaces. The first pin extends through the first transverse slot and limits the slidable movement of the cam. A second pin is attached to the second tong member hinge end and extends through the second transverse slot and is adapted to rest against the plurality of incremental support surfaces.

Flying ring

A flying ring having a circular inner edge and a outer periphery configured as a rounded square. The main body of the ring, outward of the inner circular edge, is transversely arced along the full annular length thereof, providing a convex upper surface and a concave lower surface with the lower surface forming a continuous recess about the body. Four equally spaced separate rounded lobes provided about the disk each include a lower surface with an arcuate elongate aerodynamic recess therein outward of and independent of the body recess providing additional lift in response to the motion of the ring when propelled.
