A system comprises a docking station and a robot. The docking station includes a first dock and a second dock. The first dock is configured to removably-receive a first plate. The first plate is configured to removably-receive a first plurality of parts. The second dock is configured to removably-receive a second plate. The second plate is configured to removably-receive a second plurality of parts. The robot includes an end effector configured to engage the first plate and the second plate.

A workpiece diverter station is disclosed. The workpiece diverter station includes: a base frame; an X-direction workpiece transporter subassembly; a Z-direction lift assembly; and a Y-direction workpiece transporter subassembly. The X-direction workpiece transporter subassembly is axially fixedly supported with respect to the base frame in a Z-direction. The Z-direction lift assembly is supported by the base frame. The Y-direction workpiece transporter subassembly is connected to the Z-direction lift assembly and is axially movably supported with respect to the base frame in the Z-direction. An apparatus capable of building products including an adhesive application member, which is capable of applying an adhesive to a first base member along a first predetermined pattern and to a second base member along a second predetermined pattern, and a tooling block, which is capable of receiving a first set of one or more attaching members and applying the first set of one or more attaching members to the first base member and is capable of receiving a second set of one or more attaching members and applying the second set of one or more attaching members to the second base member. The apparatus is capable of building products of differing design aspects without significant changes to the apparatus's components. The apparatus may also associate with a universal product mover capable of transporting products of varying designs.

A weight applicator for a wheel of a tire-wheel assembly is disclosed. The weight applicator includes an arm portion and an applicator portion connected to the arm portion. The applicator includes a radially-extending flange portion. The radially-extending flange portion is connected to the arm portion. A first plunger portion is movably-connected to the radially-extending flange portion by one or more first radial arms. A method is also disclosed.

An example canopy according to this disclosure includes, among other things, a column, and support including a track extending in a longitudinal direction. The support is connected to the column. The canopy further includes a frame member, and at least one follower connected to the frame member. The at least one follower is received in the track such that the frame member is slidable in the longitudinal direction.

A system is disclosed. The system includes a fluid reservoir containing a volume of fluid, a bell housing that forms a chamber, a workpiece having a first surface portion and a second surface portion, and a pressure manipulating sub-system in fluid communication with the chamber of the bell housing. The bell housing is arranged relative to the fluid reservoir such that a lower end of the bell housing is at least partially submerged in the fluid thereby sealing the chamber of the bell housing from atmosphere. The bell housing is arranged relative to the fluid reservoir such that the second surface portion of the workpiece is disposed within the chamber of the bell housing that is sealed from atmosphere. An inflator apparatus for inflating more than one un-inflated tire-wheel assembly is disclosed. The inflator apparatus includes a support structure; an interface portion rotatably-attached to the support structure, wherein the interface portion includes a plurality of inflator heads, wherein each inflator head of the plurality of inflator heads includes a fluid inlet; a plunger portion movably-connected to the support structure, wherein the plunger portion is movably-connected to the support structure to permit selectively coupling of the plunger portion with one inflator head of the plurality of inflator heads; and a fluid conduit connected to the plunger portion, wherein the fluid conduit is fluidly connectable with the fluid inlet of the one inflator head of the plurality of inflator heads. A system for processing more than one un-inflated tire-wheel assembly is also disclosed. A method for utilizing an inflator apparatus for inflating more than one un-inflated tire-wheel assembly is also disclosed.

An apparatus for processing an un-inflated tire-wheel assembly for forming an inflated tire-wheel assembly is disclosed. The apparatus includes at least a first robotic arm and a second robotic arm forming a pair of robotic arms; an assembling end effecter attached to the first robotic arm; and an inflating end effecter attached to the second robotic arm, wherein the assembling end effecter is indirectly interfaceable with the inflating end effecter by way of the un-inflated tire-wheel assembly.
