A flat mounting frame for direct mount luminaires is disclosed that has a set of features that allows for different hanger bar attachments and length adjustments. The flat mounting frame has multiple sets of features incorporated that permit the end user to adjust its overall length, the size of the luminaire opening, and the locations of attached hanger bars.

A luminaire can include a housing having at least one outer surface that forms a cavity. The luminaire can also include at least one electrical component disposed, at least in part, within the cavity. The luminaire can further include an electrical cable having a first end and a second end, where the first end is coupled to the at least one electrical component. The luminaire can also include a switch coupled to the electrical cable, where the switch is disposed remotely from the housing, where the switch has multiple positions, wherein each position of the switch corresponds to a discrete photometric distribution emitted by one or more light sources of the luminaire.

Configurable lighting system

A junction box-driver assembly includes a housing that is configured to route electrical wiring to a luminaire therethrough and house a driver module therein. The housing includes a back plate that defines a junction box cavity and a driver cavity that is disposed adjacent to and in fluid communication with the junction box cavity. Further, the housing includes a junction box cover that is coupled to the back plate and configured to cover the junction box cavity that is configured to route the electrical wiring therethrough and/or enclose wire connections therein. Furthermore, the housing includes a driver cavity cover that is removably coupled to the back plate to cover the driver cavity that is configured to house the driver module therein. The junction-box driver assembly further includes a mounting strut that is removably coupled to the housing and configured to releasably lock the junction box-driver assembly to a mounting frame.

A light fixture can include a housing having at least one housing wall having an inner surface that forms a cavity, where the inner surface of the at least one housing wall has at least one baffle coupling feature disposed thereon. The light fixture can also include a baffle removably coupled to the housing, where the baffle includes at least one baffle wall having an outer surface, where the outer surface of the at least one baffle wall has at least one housing coupling feature disposed thereon. The baffle can be coupled to the housing and decoupled from the housing without use of tools.

Replaceable baffles for light fixtures

A configurable mounting frame includes a light fixture receiving opening having a first shape. The light fixture receiving opening is configured to receive a light fixture to mount the light fixture to a mounting surface. Further, the configurable mounting frame includes breakaway panels that are detachable to change the shape of the light fixture receiving opening from the first shape to a second shape that is different from the first shape. Furthermore, the configurable mounting frame includes locking features that are configured to toollessly and releasably lock an electrical or electronic component such as a junction box-driver assembly thereto.
