A thermoplastic bag includes raised rib-like elements that allow the thermoplastic bag to expand. The thermoplastic bag further includes side seals having rib-like elements that allow the side seals to expand. Additionally, in one or more implementations, the thermoplastic bag includes one or more of a material formulation, a density of raised rib-like elements, a height of raised rib-like elements, or land areas that provide the raised rib-like elements with a reduced rebound ratio.

The container may hold a material, such as, plastic wrap. The first container portion may include a first leg with an engagement member. The engagement member may engage the second leg during the cutting process. In addition, the engagement member may disengage from the second leg during or after the cutting process. When the user wishes to cut the material, the user pushes down on the first container portion. The material is held between the engagement member and the second leg at a first location. The third leg may assist in holding the material at a second location. The holding of the material in tension may facilitate the cutting of the material. As the user continues to push down on the first container portion, the engagement member disengages from the second leg. The user can remove the portion of material without opening the first container portion.

A spin lock container comprising a container member having a bottom, an upper annular rim and a substantially continuous side wall extending from the bottom and terminating at the rim, the bottom and side wall defining a first member cavity, the rim including a first member skirt having a plurality of first threads, the plurality of first threads having substantially equidistant engagement points; and a closure member having a peripheral sealing portion and an inner sealing portion, the peripheral sealing portion including a sealing liner and a skirt having a plurality of second threads adapted and positioned to cooperate with the first threads, wherein sealable engagement of the container member and closure member is effectuated when the first and second threads are fully aligned and the inner sealing member is adapted to sealingly engage an inner container member, the inner container member fitting inside the outer container member when the peripheral sealing member is engaged with the outer container member.

A tie bag for storing refuse or garbage includes an undulating top edge defining an opening to the bag. The top edge may include two flaps and two valleys. In one embodiment, the valley may include a flat portion at the bottom of the valley. The flaps may be tied together to at least partially close the bag. The bag further may include a first seam that intersects the flat portion of the valley. The flat portion reduces the possibility of tearing the seam. In another embodiment, the valley may include a slit. In an additional embodiment, the valley may include two secondary valleys and a center valley. In another embodiment, the seam may intersect the top edge at a point other than the lowest point in the valley.
