Vibration-based electrical power generation is provided. In one aspect, a vibration-based power generator is embodied within a machine dampener and includes an electromotive power generation module and a piezoelectric power generation module. A power storage device is operably coupled to the electromotive power generation module and the piezoelectric power generation module. In another aspect, a device for generating electrical energy based is provided. The device includes a housing operably coupleable to a source of vibration. The housing defines a chamber inside. A first circular permanent magnet is located within the chamber and has an outer diameter. A ring-type permanent magnet is located around the first circular permanent magnet and defines an annular space therebetween. At least one voice coil portion is located in the annular space and is coupled to a flexure structure to allow the voice coil portion(s) to move within the flux of the permanent magnets in response to vibration.

Vibration power generation

An improved pressure transducer is disclosed. The transducer includes a connector, an enclosure, a sensor portion, and an external heater disposed to heat the sensor portion. In some aspects, the sensor portion includes a sensor constructed from a brittle material and does not employ any fill fluid within the sensor. In another aspect, the invention includes a kit that adapts non-heated high purity vacuum transducers for heated use. The kit includes a connector portion and a heater portion that is coupled to the connector portion. The connector portion may also include one or more indicators.

Pressure transducer with external heater

A barometric pressure sensor including a base layer, a sensor layer and a reference layer. The base layer has a passageway between a pressure inlet and a mounting face. The sensor layer is bonded by an insulating bond to the mounting face and includes a conductive diaphragm. The reference layer is mounted on the sensor layer to form a reference vacuum cavity. The reference layer includes a conducting surface facing the conductive diaphragm across the reference vacuum cavity to form a pressure sensing capacitor.

Absolute pressure sensor

The specification discloses a mobile home heater taking combustion air from the outside and operable selectively as a stove and a fireplace and being double walled in its back sides and bottom. In operation as a stove, combustion air flows into a bottom passage covering the bottom of the fire chamber, up a back passage covering the back of the fire chamber and down a preheating passage in the back passage and into the lower portion of the fire chamber, secondary air also flowing from the back passage into the upper portion of the fire chamber. For fireplace operation, a door is opened to the fire chamber and also opens ports from the bottom passage to supply air through the door opening, a thermostat controlled damper to the preheating passage closing. An injection tube leads from the back passage into a stack to minimize condensation in low combustion operation, and a second air injection tube in the upper portion of the stack has a thermostat controlled inlet valve closed when the stack is hot.

Improved mobile home heater

An automatic wood burning heating stove has a fire chamber, a fuel feeding opening, closeable by an airtight door which is removable to convert the heater to an open fireplace. The door has a reflective ceramic surface on its inner face to direct heat toward preheating tubes having outlets directed above the fire zone. The door also reflects heat toward a downdraft preheating passage at the back of the stove. The draft preheating passage has a thermostatically controlled door which is closed when the stove is converted to a fireplace.

Automatic wood burning heating stove

A wood burning stove has a fire chamber with an opening surrounded by a jamb, and a door having a pair of hooklike hinge rods is hinged to a hearth plate and is removable. The door has a gasket and, when, closed, the latches clamp the gasket against the jamb.

Removable fuel door on a wood burning stove

A swimming pool heater has a fire chamber with a fuel feeding opening closable by a door which is removable to use the heater as a fireplace. A heat exchanger comprises a continuous length of copper tubing paralleled by an adjustable bypass. Air is supplied through a preheating manifold and regulated by a thermostatically controlled damper. A baffle delays escape of smoke and gases from the chamber.
