A feed intake system comprising one or more feeding stations comprising a trough with an animal feeding access, a support frame surrounding the trough, a base frame supporting the trough, a scale unit between the base frame and the support frame enabling the scale unit to weigh the contents of the trough, a station frame with an animal feeding access, a sensor assembly including a sensor or antenna located near the station frame animal feeding access, a control panel and a timestamp generator operationally associated with the sensor assembly and the scale unit, a CPU/processing computer operationally associated with the control panel, one or more animals, each having a RFID tag which transmits RFID signal and tag data, wherein the weight of the feed in the trough is collected and stored in a log file and wherein RFID signal and tag data are collected and stored in a log file.

Feed intake system

A sheet piling for mandrel-installed engagement with an identical adjacent sheet piling. The mandrel has a guide hook and a rotating toe protector. The sheet piling has a female interlocking feature with a pair of hooks and an engagement hook for releasably engaging the mandrel guide hook. The sheet piling also has a male interlocking feature with a pair of hooks configured to engage the pair of female hooks of an adjacent sheet piling in a multi-piling wall structure.

Sheet piling and installation method

A system, method and sealing components for resisting fluid transmission through an interlock joint between first and second sheet piling panels of a barrier assembly. A compressible sealing member is engaged between interlock members of the sheet piling panels as the barrier assembly is constructed. A dispersible sealant is optionally dispersed into the interlock joint upon compression of the sealing member.

A system and method for installing sheet piles using active gripping along side portions of the sheet piles. A sheet pile profile including first and second locking profiles and a gripping flange enables engagement of the sheet piles onto a mandrel for installation. System and method for installing sheet piles

A plastic sleeve is applied to a pole of varying cross-sectional area. A series of poles are advanced along their lengths through the opening of an extruder die, plastic is extruded onto the pole to form a cylindrical sleeve, and the rate of advancement of the pole through the die is adjusted in accordance with the increasing or decreasing diameter of the pole, so as to assure an even application of the plastic about the pole. The ends of the plastic are gathered while the plastic is still hot, forming a closure of the plastic about the ends of the pole.

Briefly described, the present invention relates to a wale for use in forming a driven wall structure including a plurality of elongated structural panels. The wale includes a base wall, a top wall, a first side wall, and a second side wall. The base wall and the top wall are parallel, the first side wall and the second side wall extend between both the base wall and the top wall such that the wale is of a trapezoidal cross-section.

Yet another embodiment of the present disclosure relates to a sheet pile installation apparatus for inserting a sheet pile vertically into a soil formation, the installation apparatus including an elongated body configured to releasably receive the sheet pile, the body having an upper end, a lower end, a lower edge, a top surface, a bottom surface, and at least one aperture formed at said lower end. The installation apparatus further includes a catch having a first portion and a second portion, the catch being pivotally mounted in the aperture about said pivot axis such that the first portion and the second portion are disposed on opposed sides of the lower end of the body when the catch is in an at-rest position. The first portion of the catch is configured such that insertion of the body into the soil formation rotates the first portion upwardly such that the first portion engages a lower end of the sheet pile disposed adjacent the top surface of the body.

Apparatus and method for inserting sheet piles into a soil formation

A series of duplicate structural panels form a substantially flat sea wall, barrier wall, and the like, fabricated of synthetic resin material for driving into soils. The structural panel is elongated and of constant size and shape along its length, and is characterized by having been extruded lengthwise. The structural panel includes, in cross section, a central wall section having an inner surface, an outer surface, and opposed side wall sections. A male locking element is disposed on and extends laterally from one side section and a female locking element is disposed on and extends laterally from the other side wall section, the female locking element being configured to slidably receive and retain the male locking element. First and a second strengthening flanges are integrally formed on the inner surface, both substantially perpendicular to the central wall section and substantially parallel to each other. The first and second strengthening flanges extend along the length of the structural panel.

Sheet pile for forming barrier walls

An extruded containment barrier panel (5) for use in forming a containment barrier wall about a waste material storage or disposal site is disclosed. The containment barrier panel has an elongate body panel (10) with a top end (11), a spaced bottom end (12), and a first side edge (14) and a spaced parallel second side edge (15) extending from the top end to the bottom end of the body panel. A C-shaped female connecting member (17) is formed along the first side edge of the body panel, and a complimentary male connecting member (22) is formed along the second side edge of the body panel, both of which extend the length of the body panel. The male connecting member is sized and shaped to be slidably received within a second one of the female connecting members for forming an interlocked edge-standing relationship with a second one of the barrier panels, and both of the male and female connecting members may be rotated with respect to one another when one of the containment barrier panels is being joined to a second adjacent one of he containment barrier panels to form a containment barrier wall. The male connecting member has least two elongate seal members (32, 33, 34) extending the length thereof, and constructed and arranged to be placed into sealing engagement with the female connecting member of the second barrier panel such that a fluid-tight seal will be formed between adjacent ones of the barrier panels for preventing the migration of groundwater and/or underground gases from out or into the waste material storage or burial site.

Structural panels (12) of extruded PVC and of stretched Z-shaped configuration and which can be driven into the ground include strengthening ribs (36-40) extending from the inner surfaces (34 and 35) of the opposed side sections (26 and 27). The ribs extend at a right angle to the side section bending planes (56 and 57) and at a right angle to the panel bending plane (64), thereby adding significant resistance to both compression and tension forces applied to the panel. The structural panels are driven into the earth to form a wall barrier, with the female locking element (43) being telescopically moved along the male locking element (42) of a previously installed panel. Distal strengthening rib (40) functions as a driving tongue to stabilize the position of the male locking element (42) during driving of the panel into the ground.

An extruded sheet piling (20) is disclosed. The sheet piling has a planar body panel (22) with a top end (23) and a spaced bottom end (24). A first continuous side edge (26) and a second spaced parallel continuous side edge (27) extend between the top end and the bottom end of the body panel, respectively. A first planar flat (29) extends away from the first side edge of the body panel, and has an elongate continuous male locking member (31) formed along an outside edge (30) thereof A second spaced parallel flat (34) extends away from the second side edge of the body panel, and has a female locking member (36) extending the length of an outside edge (35) and which is sized and shaped to snugly receive the male locking member of an adjacent sheet piling therein. An elongate structural reinforcing rib (42) is extruded as a part of the sheet piling along the outside edge of the first flat, and is spaced from and parallel to the male locking member.

Sheet piling extrusion

A decking extrusion for use in forming the deck members used to construct outdoor decks, docks, and similar structures is disclosed. The extrusion has an elongate planar base panel (7) with a first elongate side edge (8), and a spaced parallel elongate second side edge (9). At least one first elongate leg member (12) extends the length of the first side edge of the base panel, and at least one elongate second leg member (15) spaced from and parallel to the first leg member extends the length of the second side edge of the base panel. A first locking element (17) is formed at the distal end of the first leg member, and a corresponding locking element (30), sized and shaped to receive a second one of the first locking elements therein, is formed at the distal end of the second leg member. The extrusion may also be provided with an intermediate stiffening leg (126) having a transverse flange (127) formed at its distal end parallel to the base panel to add structural rigidity to the extrusion. Two identical ones of the extrusion are joined together to form an elongate deck member by placing the two extrusions in a 180.degree. reverse relationship with respect to one another such that the second locking element of the second extrusion is received on the first locking element of the first extrusion, while the first locking element of the second extrusion is received on the second locking element of the first extrusion, respectively, whereupon the extrusions are joined together in a snap-fit at the respective locking elements to form an elongate hollow box beam or deck member.
