A fabric closure, and enclosure, are provided for cargo containers, including a fabric panel formed of high-strength yarns, and a pair of selectively closeable openings formed in the fabric panel for access therethrough, the selectively closeable openings having a substantially vertical opening, and a slide fastener for closure thereof.

Fabric closure with an access opening for cargo containers

A fabric closure, and enclosure, are provided for cargo containers, including a fabric panel formed of high-strength yarns, and a selectively closeable opening formed in the fabric panel for access therethrough, the selectively closeable opening having a substantially vertical opening, and a slide fastener for closure thereof.

A protective cover for lengths of materials used in environments in which the lengths of material are moved and pulled around and subjected to abrasion, chemicals, and weather extremes. The protective cover includes a sleeve that surrounds the length of material to be protected. The sleeve has open ends and is formed of a fabric made substantially of high performance yarns.

Protective cover

A protective cover formed substantially of ultra high molecular weight polyethylene yarns and having first and second opposing edges connected by a high shear strength hook and loop fastener system. The high shear strength hook and loop fastener system includes areas of a plurality of high shear strength hooks along opposing edges of the cover and an intermediate disposable strip having a plurality of loops on both sides of the strip configured to be received between the areas having the plurality of hooks. The cover wraps around the sling so that a portion of the first edge and second edge overlap with the intermediate disposable strip to form the releasable connection. When the edges are released, the intermediate strip may be replaced, when worn, by a new intermediate strip with the remainder of the cover and fastener system being reusable.

Protective cover for slings, ropes, cables and the like

A storm panel of high strength fabric is constructed, reinforced, and installed in such a way as to comply with the building codes as a large missile impact system. When not in use, the fabric can be rolled and stored and placed in an attractive cover without disassembly.

Storm panel for protecting windows and doors during high winds

A puncture and abrasion resistant, air and water impervious laminated fabric is provided. The laminated fabric includes a woven fabric base layer having warp and weft yarns, with at least 50 percent of the fibers in the warp yarns being formed of high performance material. A first thermoplastic film is bonded by heat and pressure to at least one of the sides of the fabric base layer. The first thermoplastic film is formed of ethylene vinyl acetate. A second thermoplastic film is bonded by heat and pressure to the first thermoplastic film on at least one of sides of the fabric. The second thermoplastic film is formed from either high density polyethylene or low density polyethylene.

Puncture and abrasion resistant, air and water impervious laminated fabric

A storm panel of high strength fabric is constructed, reinforced, and installed in such a way as to comply with the building codes as a large missile impact system. The panel includes a zippered opening for access through the panel when in use. When not in use, the fabric can be rolled and stored and placed in an attractive cover without disassembly.

Tubular structures formed of helically wound layers of a composite fabric structure. The fabric structure has an inwardly facing layer in the form of a fabric base. The fabric base comprises a network of high tenacity fibers. The composite fabric structure also includes an outwardly facing layer formed of rubber. The inwardly facing layer and the outwardly facing layer are bonded together, preferably through the use of a bonding layer. The tubular structure may be used as a stand along product, as an antichafing cover for a rope, as a liner for a pipe, or the like.

Tubular composite structures

A composite flexible fabric is employed as a covering for an opening of a building, such as a window or door. The composite fabric protects the opening from hurricane force winds and associated flying objects. The composite fabric is formed from at least one layer of a fabric comprised of high tenacity fibers and at least one ultraviolet radiation resistant layer which is attached to the high tenacity fiber fabric. The UV resistant layer limits transmission of both UVA and UVB rays preferably to less than about 10% of the radiation incident upon such layer. Preferably, the UV resistant layer is a woven fabric, and the layer of high tenacity fibers is a woven fabric of extended chain polyethylene fibers. An adhesive layer may be used to enhance bonding between the fabric layer and the UV resistant layer.

Hurricane resistant composites

A composite flexible fabric is employed as a covering for an opening of a building, such as a window or door. The composite fabric protects the opening from hurricane force winds and associated flying objects. The composite fabric is formed from at least one layer of a fabric comprised of high tenacity polyolefin fibers and at least one layer of a plastic film. The film is attached to at least one surface of the high tenacity polyolefin fiber fabric. Each of the fabric layer and the film layer are sufficient translucent so as to permit light to enter the opening of the building. The fabric layer provides protection against high wind and impact from projectiles, and the film layer provides an impervious barrier to water, such as wind driven rain. An adhesive layer may be used to enhance bonding between the fabric layer and the film layer.

An abrasion-resistant skirt material for use with air cushion vehicles having at least one air chamber. The sheet material comprises a fabric base comprising yarns of an ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene. A bonding layer, comprising a thermoplastic material is bonded to the fabric base, and an outer layer, comprising a rubber compound is bonded to the bonding layer.
