The candle uses wax beads produced using existing equipment. The wax beads are transported to a bead hopper and the bead hopper deposits a volume of wax beads into jars prepared with a wick. Concurrently the jars are vibrated using a continuous vibratory motor to settle the wax beads for increased wax bead density. The filled jars are then transported to an in-container wax bead compression system where an automated plunging device compresses the wax beads. Jars are then transported by in-line conveyor to a wide conveyor. The jars are then filled at a liquid wax depositing station where the wax has been heated to its melting point and deposited into the jar to fill the void left by the in-container wax bead Compression system. The filled candle is then cooled to solidification. The finished candle is then ready for packing, distribution, sale, and use.

A wax composition comprising various waxes and an organically modified polysiloxane (OMP). These materials are mixed and melted into a homogenous liquid state creating a molten blend. It is preferred that the slip agent be added to the blend at least 0.25 percent by weight, and more preferably at 0.50 percent by weight. By mixing OMP with known candle and wax potpourri waxes, the wax becomes much easier to remove from the wax container.

The system and method for manufacturing the composite candle wick includes a mechanism for feeding the cotton wick and wood wick at substantially the same speeds. The wood wick is heated in order to cause a melting of a wax coating around the cotton wick and pressure is applied to the wick materials through a compression wheel and drive belt which carries the wick materials. Once the pressure is applied to form the composite wick the wicks are then sent through a cutting tube where a cutting blade will cut the wick to its desired length.

A candle includes a vessel of some volume containing some smaller volume of at least one variety of wax beads, having a diameter of less than or equal to 2.35 millimeters and in most embodiments also including a particular fragrance and color pigment. The was beads topped with a solid wax topping. The solid wax topping may cover the entire exposed surface of the candle, holding the wax beads in place during shipping and use and holding the wick in a centralized location.

Attachment for container candle

A scented candle includes at least two different wax materials with one of the materials having one melting point and at least one of the other wax materials having a second higher melting point. The wax having the higher melting point may include a malodor control agent or odor abatement substance or alternatively a fragrance that is different than the fragrance in the other wax materials in the candle. The second fragrance may also be at a much higher concentration than the fragrances in the other wax materials contained in the candle.
