A canopy luminaire mounting system includes a canopy socket assembly configured to be mounted to canopy structure. A canopy luminaire includes a mating connector assembly that is configured to be received by the canopy socket assembly. The canopy luminaire is removably secured to the canopy socket assembly in response to relative rotation of the canopy luminaire and the canopy socket assembly. The canopy socket assembly may include at least one electrical contact and the mating connector assembly of the canopy luminaire may include at least one second electrical contact that cooperates with the at least one first electrical contact to establish an electrical connection therebetween in response to the relative rotation of the canopy luminaire and the canopy socket assembly.

Surface mount luminaire

A mounting system includes a support including a threaded rod and a fixture including an aperture configured to be positioned over the threaded rod. The system also includes a catch bar coupled to the threaded rod and moveable relative to the threaded rod between a first position wherein the catch bar permits the aperture to be positioned over the threaded rod, and a second position wherein the catch bar extends at least partially radially outwardly from the threaded rod to thereby retain the fixture on the threaded rod.

Hands-free support bolt and method

A luminaire assembly and a silicone optical array. The luminaire assembly includes a housing, a substrate, and a silicone optical array. The housing defines a light emitting chamber. The substrate has a plurality of light emitting sources, such as light emitting diodes, supported thereby in an array. The substrate defines a peripheral edge. The silicone optical array has a plurality of silicone optics formed in the silicone optical array. The silicone optical array is located so as to cover one side of the substrate and the plurality of light emitting sources. The silicone optical array may further include a silicone mat and a plurality of silicone optics formed in the silicone mat and being arranged in an array corresponding to the array of light emitting sources.

LED luminaire assembly

A luminaire is provided including a housing and at least one peripheral compartment defined in the housing that is configured to receive a lighting element. A central compartment is defined in the housing and disposed laterally inwardly of the at least one peripheral compartment. The central compartment is configured to receive control and power components for the lighting element. At least one lens is disposed over the at least one peripheral compartment such that the central compartment is accessible when the luminaire is installed on a support surface without a need to remove the at least one lens.

A sensor support for use with a lighting refractor includes a housing defining an interior cavity configured to receive and support a sensor for sensing at least one of motion or light. The sensor support further includes a locking structure operatively associated with the housing and configured to selectively attach the housing to a peripheral portion of a lighting refractor, and an aperture in the housing and arranged to expose the sensor to an environment around the lighting refractor. Sensor and lighting unit assemblies are also disclosed. A sensor assembly includes the sensor support and a sensor configured to sense at least one of motion or light. A lighting unit assembly includes the sensor support and a lighting unit having a refractor with a peripheral portion.

Sensor support for use with lighting refractor

A modular lighting fixture includes an elongate center support member defining a channel. At least one reflector panel is coupled with the center support member and extends laterally outward therefrom. The lighting fixture further includes at least one light guide having a first edge and an oppositely disposed second edge. The first edge of the light guide is mechanically coupled with the center support member. The light guide may have a curved cross-sectional shape in a plane perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the center support member. At least one light emitting diode (LED) is disposed adjacent the first edge of the light guide, whereby light produced by the LED is directed through the light guide toward the second edge.

Luminaire

A luminaire has a housing plate on which a circuit board rests. The circuit board has light sources for generating light and circuit board bosses. A lens is biased toward the circuit board and contacts a distal end of the circuit board bosses to press the circuit board against the housing plate.

A luminaire and reflector module for the luminaire are disclosed wherein the reflector has a base plate defining a plurality of reflector light source apertures and a plurality of reflectors extending integrally and individually from the base plate adjacent to the light source apertures.

A luminaire may include an input connection that receives AC line voltage, one or more chains of LEDs, and one or more drivers for driving each chain of LEDs, all within a housing, which may be in the form of a canopy. Each chain of LEDs may contain at least 36 LEDs connected in series. Each LED may have a power rating of no more than 1 watt and may be oriented to direct light outside of the housing when illuminated. Each driver may receive power that is extracted from AC line voltage connected to the input connection and provide one or more outputs that drive at least one of the chains of LEDs.

Lighting

A luminaire is disclosed comprising one or more side members having one or more light modules associated therewith and defining a recess. The light module having one or more light sources, one or more light directing members, and a lens enclosing the light sources and directing members in the module. The light directing members redirecting light emitted from at least one of the one or more light sources to be perpendicular to the lens. One or more of the light directing members can be a reflector or an optic lens. The light modules can be configured to cast different light distributions to combine to form the desired light distribution. The light modules can be designed or exchanged to create any desired light distribution from the same side members. The light module can comprise a tray such that the lens is sealed to the tray keeping moisture from entering the module.

Luminaires and lighting structures

A luminaire having a housing defining one or more unthreaded mounting holes therein, a connector having a head and a shaft, the connector shaft located at least partially in one of the one or more mounting holes, the connector shaft comprised of a pliable material, a circuit board mounted to the housing by the connector head, the circuit board populated with one or more LEDs, and a lens resting against and spaced form the circuit board by the connector head.
