A pyrotechnic projectile including an aerial shell, the aerial shell including at least one combustible layer of material; the at least one layer surrounding and containing at least one pyrotechnic effect and a dispersive explosive charge; the at least one combustible layer including a combustible material configured to burn substantially throughout the at least one layer; and wherein the at least one combustible layer is configured to burn through a thickness at a preselected rate to thereby ignite the dispersive explosive charge.

A method of producing a concussion device including providing a structure including a cavity, the cavity having a top opening; providing a first energetic charge disposed in a bottom portion of the cavity; providing an elongated member having a length, a width, and a thickness, with the length being greater than both the width and the thickness of the elongated member, the elongated member removably secured to the structure within the cavity and at least partially overlying the first energetic charge.

Fuel/air concussion apparatus and method

The present disclosure generally pertains to a device for separating two or more components of an explosive device. The elongated hollow device has an interior space for holding the components as well as two open ends. A separator is positioned within the device, thus creating at least two non-communicating compartments. The separator prevents the premature mixing of the components. Application of compressive force onto the circumference of the separator will cause the separator to fracture, thus mixing the components. The device increases safety and lowers costs associated with shipping explosive materials by keeping the components separated until immediately before use.

Fuel/air concussion apparatus

A door locking system includes a door that has an outer edge. The door is overlapped with a door frame in a dwelling wall when the door in a closed position. A mounting plate is attached to the outer edge and has an upper edge and a lower edge. A swing plate is pivotally coupled to the mounting plate by a pivot pin positioned adjacent to the upper edge. A stop plate is attached to the door frame and extends outwardly from the door frame. The mounting plate is abutted against the stop plate when the door is in a closed position overlapping the door frame. The stop plate is positioned below the pivot pin. The swing plate is pivoted over the stop plate in a locking position to position the stop plate between the swing plate and the mounting plate to prevent opening of the door.
