A method of assembling a shelf system is provided. The method includes placing a foot sleeve around a bottom portion of a side support panel. The foot sleeve includes a first sidewall configured to extend alongside an outer face of the side support panel, a second sidewall configured to extend alongside an inner face of the side support panel that faces opposite the outer face and an end wall configured to extend along a front face of the side support panel, the end wall connecting the first and second sidewalls. The first and second sidewalls and end wall define a volume that is sized to receive the side support panel. The side support panel is mounted to a wall such that the side support panel extends in a vertical direction and is perpendicular to the wall. The foot sleeve is slid toward a floor beneath the side support panel to cover a gap between the side support panel and the floor after mounting the side support panel to the wall.

A hanging rack assembly may include a mounting rail having a mounting base. The mounting base has a first end, a second end, a first edge that extends between the first and the second end, and a second edge that extends between the first end and the second end, the mounting base having opposite faces that extend between the first end, the second end, the first edge, and the second edge; and a mounting lip, wherein the mounting base comprises one or more non-circular openings sized to receive an anchor for mounting the mounting rail to a surface. A method of installing a mounting rail may include mounting the mounting rail on a surface; drilling through one or more non-circular openings located on a mounting base of the mounting rail; and inserting an anchor into one or more of the non-circular openings and the surface in order to secure the mounting rail to the surface.

A shelf locator insert includes an insertable portion including a leg member and a head portion located over the leg member. A tacky layer is located on the head portion. An engagement fin is provided along the leg member. The insertable portion is configured to be received within a channel of a shelf support bracket such that the engagement fin interfaces with an interior wall of the shelf support bracket to friction fit the shelf locator insert in the shelf support bracket.

A storage accessory is configured for selective attachment to a wall support member. The storage accessory includes a hanging tab and a locking tab. The locking tab is movable between an unlocked position and a locked position. In the unlocked position, the locking tab is configured not to penetrate a groove in a wall support member and thus to allow removal of the hanging tab from a wall support member. In the locked position, the locking tab is configured to penetrate a groove in a wall support member and thus to prevent removal of the hanging tab from a wall support member.
