A dispenser assembly for liquid products is disclosed. Such an assembly may include an elongated barrel, and an elongated plunger having a flexible sealing lip disposed at an end thereof. The sealing lip may have an outer diameter in a relaxed state that is greater than an internal cross-sectional diameter of the barrel. When the plunger and barrel are actuated axially relative to one another, the sealing lip flexes inwardly and provides the sole contact between the plunger and the barrel.

Dispenser for medicaments and method and apparatus for making same

An adapter to be pressed into the neck of a bottle to receive a syringe for accessing the bottle contents by a syringe. The adapter has a distal end that extends into the bottle and a normally closed valve located at that distal end to prevent the contents from leaking out of the bottle if the bottle is inverted. An upper flange of the adapter seats against the top of the bottle and is recessed into the top of the bottle to prevent easy access to pry the adapter out of the bottle. A cap is also disclosed that is adapted to be pressed into the neck of a bottle. The cap has an upper lid that is hinged to a lower body to allow the upper hinge to move between a closed position sealing the bottle and an open position where the bottle is accessible by a syringe.

A tamper evident tip cap assembly for a prefilled dosage syringe having a tip cap wherein a sleeve is frangibly connected to the tip cap, and is captured within an overcap freely rotatable thereon. The tamper evident tip cap assembly is removed from the syringe tip cap by pulling the overcap to break the frangible connection between the sleeve and syringe tip cap.

A moisture-tight safety closure and a container wherein a depending, circumferentially extending sealing lip on the closure engages a flexible wall portion on the neck of the container. A plurality of circumferentially extending lugs on the closure cooperate with a plurality of circumferentially spaced hooks on the container neck for releasably securing the closure to the container.

A dispenser assembly for liquid products comprising an elongated, generally cylindrical barrel of a predetermined internal cross-sectional diameter having a discharge opening at one end and open at its opposite end, an elongated, generally cylindrical hollow plunger having an outer diameter less than the barrel internal diameter and a circumferentially extending axially directed sealing lip adjacent the tip portion having an outer diameter greater than the internal diameter of the barrel in the relaxed state to thereby flex the lip inwardly against its bias and providing the sole sliding contact between the plunger and barrel when the plunger and barrel are actuated axially relative to one another.

The present invention provides a one-piece pipette/dropper assembly that includes a pipette portion, a threaded cap portion, and bulb portion. The cap potion has a top wall including a top and bottom surface and the bulb portion has a first end integrally formed with the top wall of the cap on the top surface. The pipette portion has a first end integrally formed with the top wall of the cap on the bottom surface thereof. The bulb potion communicates with the pipette potion through the first end of the pipette portion and the pipette portion has an opening in a second end for receiving and discharging a fluid.

One-piece pipette/dropper assembly and the method of making same

A drop dispenser having a sleeve carrying a closure and resilient dosage receiving fitting. The sleeve is treadably mounted on a fluid containing container having a nipple thereon. The closure on the sleeve has a configuration corresponding to the configuration of the nipple for sealing the nipple in the closed position. The fitting is filled with fluid from the container by turning the sleeve in a direction away from the closed position on the nipple to an open position to thereby establish fluid communication between the container and fitting. The fluid is dispensed from the fitting by squeezing the fitting after the closure has been returned to the closed position on the nipple, thereby preventing fluid from flowing from the resilient fitting back into the container. Cooperating stop members are provided between the sleeve and bottle neck to limit the movement of the sleeve relative to the bottle neck.

A dropper assembly comprising a pipette portion, having a proximate end and a distal end, the distal end of said pipette having an opening through which fluid is adapted to flow in the pipette pr9otion; a cap portion having a top wall, the proximate end of the said pipette portion being integrally formed with the top wall of said cap portion on one side thereof; a bulb portion having a flange at one end thereof, said cap portion having an annular wall extending axially outwardly from the opposite side of the top wall thereof, the flange of said bulb portion being positioned on said opposite side of said top wall, and said annular wall being swaged over the flange of said bulb portion, to thereby integrally connect said bulb portion to said cap portion.

Dropper assembly

A limited pour neck finish bottle wherein a plurality of radially inwardly extending flexible fingers are integral with the peripheral edge portion of the open end of the neck of a bottle and extend across the open end of the neck to restrict or interfere with the flow of liquid from the bottle if an attempt is made to pour the liquid from the bottle rather than employing an exact dose dispensing device. The bottle is made by molding a plurality of axially extending flexible fingers on the peripheral edge portion at the open end of the neck simultaneously with the molding of the bottle, and then bending the fingers downwardly to the radially inwardly extending position.

A dosage dispenser assembly for containers to dispense liquids in the containers. The assembly includes elongated hollow barrel and an arrangement for removably mounting the barrel over the discharge opening in the container so that the port in the barrel in the seated position is disposed adjacent the bottom of the container. A stop sleeve of generally tubular configuration engages internally of the barrel and has at least two key ways of different axial depth defining cam follower surfaces. A plunger engages in the barrel having a lug element and is rotatable relative to the stop sleeve between a position wherein the plunger tip is fully seated in the barrel and another position wherein the plunger may be activated axially to draw a predetermined dosage of liquid contents into the barrel.

Cooperating stop members are provided between the sleeve and bottle neck to limit the movement of the sleeve relative to the bottle neck.

A dispensing bulb having a squeezable body portion and integral squeezable neck portion having a pair of diametrically disposed vent holes. An adaptor is mounted in the neck portion and is provided with a cylindrical portion extending into the bulb neck portion beyond the vent holes and spaced radially inwardly therefrom. A dispensing tube is connected to the adaptor and communicates with the interior of the bulb. The neck portion of the bulb is squeezed to draw liquid into the tube, and the cylindrical portion of the adaptor limits the squeezing of the neck portion to prevent liquid from being drawn through the tube into the body portion of the bulb.
