The present disclosure relates to a question recommendation system that intelligently optimizes a survey being created by a user by providing customized suggestions. For example, in one or more embodiments, the question recommendation system provides a suggested question based on questions previous added by a user while creating a survey. In particular, the question recommendation system provides various recommendations to the user to further optimize a survey being created. For instance, the question recommendation system provides recommendations with respect to improving question ordering, question phrasing, and question type as well as recommends removing potentially inefficient questions.

A speech recognition platform configured to receive an audio signal that includes speech from a user and perform automatic speech recognition (ASR) on the audio signal to identify ASR results. The platform may identify: (i) a domain of a voice command within the speech based on the ASR results and based on context information associated with the speech or the user, and (ii) an intent of the voice command. In response to identifying the intent, the platform may perform a corresponding action, such as streaming audio to the device, setting a reminder for the user, purchasing an item on behalf of the user, making a reservation for the user or launching an application for the user. The speech recognition platform, in combination with the device, may therefore facilitate efficient interactions between the user and a voice-controlled device.

Speech recognition services

An audio controlled assistant captures environmental noise and converts the environmental noise into audio signals. The audio signals are provided to a system which analyzes the audio signals for a plurality of audio prompts, which have been customized for the acoustic environment surrounding the audio controlled assistant by an acoustic modeling system. The system configured to detect the presence of an audio prompt in the audio signals and transmit instructions associated with the detected audio prompt to at least one of the audio controlled assistant or one or more cloud based services, in response.

System for recognizing and responding to environmental noises

Dialog visualizations are created to enable analysis of interactions between a user and a speech recognition system used to implement user commands. Spoken commands from the user may be classified, along with system responses to the spoken commands, to enable aggregation of communication exchanges that form dialog. This data may then be used to create a dialog visualization. The dialog visualization may enable an analyst to visually explore different branches of the interactions represented in the dialog visualization. The dialog visualization may show a trajectory of the dialog, which may be explored in an interactive manner by the analyst.

Systems and methods are disclosed which facilitate providing a marketplace for acquisition of service images to be executed in a hosted computing environment. Service image providers submit service images for inclusion in the service image marketplace. Providers may further specify pricing and usage conditions associated with the service images. Customers browse and select service images for hosting on either the marketplace hosted computing environment, or an alternate hosted computing environment. If necessary, customers may submit payment information. The service image marketplace may monitor usage of hosted service images and bill customers according to use.

Electronic marketplace for hosted service images

An electronic service image marketplace for service images is provided that permits users to browse descriptions of service images implementing desired functionalities of a virtual machine image. The described service images may be further offered for purchase through the electronic service image marketplace. An operational data service, in communication with the electronic service image marketplace, may collect operational data from a plurality of host computing devices executing the selected service image. The operational data service may further analyze the collected operational data to obtain an aggregate measure of operational data for the selected service image when executed by host computing devices. The analyzed operational data may be further provided to the electronic service image marketplace for display within the description of the selected service image. Notifications may be further provided to a user of a selected service image based upon a comparison of the analyzed operational data to operational data of the selected service image.

Aggregation of operational data for merchandizing of network accessible services

An electronic marketplace for service images permits users to browse descriptions of service images implementing desired functionalities of a virtual machine image. The described service images may contain one or more software applications and may be further offered for purchase through an electronic service image marketplace. The electronic marketplace can further provide uniform control objects that are associated with multiple service images and multiple instruction sets. Following an interaction with a particular uniform control object, the electronic marketplace can perform an action on a particular service image based on an association between the particular uniform control object and a particular instruction set associated with the particular service image.

Customizable uniform control user interface for hosted service images

Techniques for receiving a voice command from a user and, in response, providing audible content to the user using a first device and providing visual content for the user using a second device. In some instances, the first device includes a microphone for generating audio signals that include user speech, as well as a speaker for outputting audible content in response to identified voice commands from the speech. However, the first device might not include a display for displaying graphical content. As such, the first device may be configured to identify devices that include displays and that are proximate to the first device. The first device may then instruct one or more of these other devices to output visual content associated with a user's voice command.
