A communal gaming system provides a communal game to players of electronic gaming devices. The system includes a plurality of EGMs, each EGM includes a trigger condition identifying when the player is awarded participation in the communal game. The system also includes a communal game display configured to display a communal game play area. The system (a) begins a game cycle for a game instance of the communal game; (b) receives, from a first device and in response to detecting the trigger condition, a communal participation trigger message; (c) awards a participation entry in the game cycle to the player; (d) transmits, to the first device, a participation award message indicating successfully entry of the player in the game cycle; (e) conducts the communal game, thereby generating an award outcome of the communal game for the player; and (f) awards the player based on the generated award outcome.

Systems and methods for multiplayer gaming

A gaming device may perform various electronic games, such as a keno game, and may include a game controller configured to control operations of the performed electronic games. During the course of a game performed on the gaming device, the game controller may control various winning scenarios, including alternate winning scenarios. At certain stages in a keno game, a number of markers may be selected. Before, after, or while these markers are selected, the game controller may determine how many bonus markers will be selected. Based on the number of selected bonus markers, the game controller may initiate a bonus draw phase where an additional number of markers may be selected. After all markers have been selected, any selected bonus markers may be added together and the calculated sum may be added to a credit balance associated with a player of the gaming device.

A bonus round of a video keno game may consist of a series of bonus game instances. During a bonus game instance, a game controller may identify a set of bonus game pieces and select a set of bonus outcome identifiers from a bonus outcome pool. The bonus outcome identifiers may include persistent identifiers and non-persistent identifiers. In accordance with some embodiments, a gaming apparatus provides for an electronic baccarat game in which game elements are placed in a game element matrix within which a plurality of paylines are defined. Each payline consists of a baccarat hand which includes a first subset of game element positions attributed to the Player side and a second subset of game element positions attributed to the Banker side. In one embodiment, a player may place a wager on a game instance of the baccarat game and select one of a Player side and a Banker side for the wager. A payout is determined for the game instance based on which of the Player side and the Banker side the player selected and how many of the paylines resulted in a Player side win and how many of the paylines resulted in a Banker side win.

Systems and methods for modifying a graphical user interface for an electronic game of baccarat

A gaming system having a five card draw poker game is provided. An initial five card hand is dealt and a first draw card is revealed. The player may keep or discard the first draw card. After the player decides whether to keep or discard the first draw card, the player may replace cards in the initial hand. If the player selects to discard the first draw card, this card is not used as a replacement card to form a final hand. In certain implementations, the player first selects cards in the initial hand to replace. If the player elects to keep the first draw card, the gaming system displays a second draw card and the player may keep or discard the second draw card. This process continues until all discarded cards in the initial hand have been replaced or the player elects to discard one of the draw cards.

Gaming system, gaming device and method for providing draw poker game

A gaming system having a five card draw poker game is provided. The gaming system causes an initial five card hand to be dealt to the player and also causes a first draw card to be revealed to the player. The player has the option to keep or discard the first draw card. After the player has decided whether or not to keep the first draw card, the gaming system enables the player to replace cards in the initial player hand. If the player selected to discard the first draw card, this card will not be used as a replacement or draw card to form the final player hand. In certain implementations, the player first selects cards to replace in the initial player hand. In these implementations, if the player elects to keep the first draw card, the gaming system will cause the display of a second card and the player has the option of keeping or discarding the second draw card. This process continues until all of the discarded cards in the initial player hand have been replaced or until the player elects to discard one of the draw cards.
