A fluid supply system includes a fluid delivery system including a pump, a sensor configured to acquire data regarding the fluid delivery system, and a processing circuit coupled to the sensor. The processing circuit is configured to determine a health level of the fluid delivery system based on the data and provide a notification in response to the health level not satisfying a threshold.

Fluid delivery system health monitoring systems and methods

A fire apparatus includes an engine, a fluid delivery system, and a controller. The fluid delivery system includes a first pump that provides a first fluid output at a first pressure, and a second pump positioned downstream of and coupled to the first pump in a serial arrangement. The second pump is driven by the engine. The second pump provides a second fluid output at a second pressure. During a first mode, the first fluid output is dischargeable from a low pressure discharge. During a second mode, the second fluid output is dischargeable from a first high pressure discharge and/or a second high pressure discharge, the engine operates at a first set point when the second fluid output is discharged from the first high pressure discharge, and the engine operates at a second set point when the second fluid output is discharged from the second high pressure discharge.

Ultra high pressure water fire fighting system

A fluid supply system includes a fluid delivery system, a sensor positioned to acquire data regarding an operating characteristic and/or a component characteristic of the fluid delivery system, and a monitoring system coupled to the sensor. The fluid delivery system includes a pump having an inlet configured to receive a fluid, an outlet configured to provide a pressurized fluid to a fluid output, a housing defining a chamber that couples the inlet to the outlet, an impeller disposed within the chamber, and an input coupled to the impeller. The input is configured to facilitate driving the impeller to pressurize the fluid received at the inlet to generate the pressurized fluid within the chamber. The monitoring system is configured to determine a health level of a component of the fluid delivery system based on the data and provide a notification in response to the health level not satisfying a threshold.

A fire fighting vehicle includes a chassis, an engine coupled to the chassis, a fluid tank configured to store a fluid, a fluid delivery system, and a controller. The fluid delivery system includes a first pump, a second pump, a low pressure discharge, a first high pressure discharge, and a second high pressure discharge. The first pump is coupled to the fluid tank and configured to pump the fluid therefrom at a first pressure. The second pump is positioned downstream of and coupled to the first pump in a serial arrangement. The controller is configured to selectively vary at least one of a speed, a power output, and a torque output of the engine and thereby provide the fluid to at least one of the first high pressure discharge and the second high pressure discharge at a target discharge pressure.
