Osteotome and shoulder arthroplasty system

A surgical instrumentation system for a shoulder arthroplasty that includes a retractor that includes a curved section structured to wrap around and substantially engage a posterior portion of a humeral head, an alignment guide extending from the retractor. The alignment guide includes a primary alignment shaft and a resection guide attachable to the retractor, the resection guide including a guide surface for guiding a cutting tool.

Surgical retractor and resection guide

A surgical instrument system for positioning a guide pin about a glenoid cavity that includes an anterior retractor. The anterior retractor includes a tip structured to engage a scapula, a lateral retractor shaft extending from the tip, and a medial retractor shaft extending substantially transverse from the lateral retractor shaft. The system further includes an alignment guide attachable to the anterior retractor, the alignment guide including an alignment guide shaft, a guide about a distal end of the alignment guide shaft, and a fastener for connecting the alignment guide shaft to the anterior retractor such that a longitudinal axis of the alignment guide shaft is aligned with a longitudinal axis of the medial retractor shaft when fastened thereto.

Surgical glenoid instrument system

An end effector of a robotic surgery system that includes a fixed plate for attaching an end of a robotic arm, a shaft extending from the fixed plate, a sliding plate moveable relative to the fixed plate along an axial direction of the shaft, a hub assembly mounted to the sliding plate and operatively engaged with the shaft. The hub assembly includes an idler hub, and an inner bearing moveable relative to the idler hub and operatively engaged with the shaft, whereby rotation of the inner bearing moves the sliding plate along the axial direction of the shaft. The end effector further includes a pulley that includes a driven wheel connected to the inner bearing operatively engaged with a motor, whereby rotation of the driven wheel drives rotation of the inner bearing.

Dynamic feedback end effector

A polyaxial bone anchor is disclosed. The polyaxial bone anchor comprises a receiver member that includes an open bottom, a first locking member and a first sidewall. The open bottom receives a shank having a substantially spherical head. The first sidewalls has a first recess which is configured to receive the first locking member. The receiver member can further include a rod receiving recess, a second locking member, and a second sidewall. The rod receiving recess receives a rod. The second sidewall has a second recess for receiving the second locking member.

Polyaxial pedicle screw

An end effector system for use in spinal surgery may be described herein. The end effector comprises a sterile section and a non-sterile section. The sterile section comprises an instrument holder that has pins for piercing a plastic sleeve. The instrument holder holds an instrument for performing spinal surgery. The non-sterile section comprises an end effector. The end effector comprises a motor and a transducer. The motor applies a torsional and axial force to the instrument. The transducer provides feedback to the end effector system to adjust a force applied to the instrument.
