Method and system embodiments for assessing control maturity in security operations environments are described. According to some embodiments, the method facilitates a nonintrusive, automated means to configure and detect security controls installed in an Information Technology (IT) environment. The system verifies that these controls function as expected over a specified period of time and then maps each security control to a cell in a matrix of operational functions crossed with asset classes. The system captures metrics for security control activity that are displayed in the matrix to facilitate an assessment of security control architectural maturity. The system automatically generates visual and textual reports that provide recommendations to improve cybersecurity by enhancing existing and adding new controls, specify a suggested timeline for introducing those controls, and document gaps in compliance. The reports include automated remediation recommendations per compliance framework, including the ability to apply custom frameworks.

Control maturity assessment in security operations environments

A hydration device has a flexible bladder constructed to have a plurality of expandable liquid receiving chambers that extend laterally across the width of the bladder and are spaced from one another along the length of the bladder. Liquid conveying tubes are in fluidic communication with liquid chambers. A coupling is fluidically connected to the tubes and includes a valve that operates to seal the coupling from the tubes. A drinking tube has a first end that is fluidically connected to the coupling thereby establishing a fluidic connection between the drinking tube and the tubes. A bite valve is connected to a second end of the drinking tube and is operable to allow a user to drink liquid from the chambers. The drinking tube may be secured to a user's wrist by a wrist strap.

Personal hydration device

A process for recovering edible oil and bleaching clay from an edible oil-bleaching clay waste stream and for recovering edible oil and nickel catalyst from a hydrogenated edible oil-nickel catalyst-filter aid waste stream; the recovered bleaching clay may be reused directly and the recovered nickel catalyst and filter aid mixture is pelletized for metallurgical nickel recovery.

Process and equipment to reclaim reusable products from edible oil

A burner apparatus provides on-site destruction of waste liquids such as liquid anti-freeze, waste motor oil, and the like independently of the liquid concentration thereof. The apparatus comprises a storage tank for waste liquid including a reservoir and a level sensor for sensing the level of the waste liquid in the reservoir, and a burner unit energized responsive to the level sensor when the level of waste liquid exceeds a predetermined value. The burner unit includes first and second chambers connected together by a flame port provided between the chambers at the bottom of the chambers. An atomizing injector injects waste liquid from the storage tank, in an atomized form, into a flame produced by a first burner located at the top of the first chamber so that combustion products that are produced fall towards the bottom of the first chamber and pass through the flame port into the second chamber. A second burner burns combustion products exiting from the flame port into the second chamber.

Two chamber burner apparatus for destroying waste liquids

A dual mode control system for operating an electronic fuel injection system for an internal combustion engine so as to achieve an optimal compromise between engine emissions, fuel economy and driveability. A closed loop control circuit is provided which senses the amount of oxygen in the engine exhaust and normally drives an integrator in a closed loop mode of operation to operate the electronic fuel injection system at the stoichiometric air/fuel ratio at which the best conversion efficiency of hydrocarbons, carbon monoxide and nitrous oxides occur. An open loop control circuit senses high speed operation where hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide conversion are normally high and where nitrous oxide emission is not critical and clamps the output of the integrator to a predetermined value which operates the electronic fuel injection system at a nonstoichiometric, relatively lean, air/fuel ratio for improved fuel economy. Further open loop control circuitry may be provided to sense very low speed, low engine load operation where nitrous oxide emission is negligible for similarly switching to an open loop mode of operation with the integrator output clamped. An override circuit may be provided which senses engine acceleration which normally requires a relatively rich air/fuel ratio for good driveability and overrides the clamped integrator output to restore the closed loop mode of operation regardless of the engine speed thereby achieving an optimal compromise between engine emissions, fuel economy and drivability.
