Embodiments include method, systems and computer program products for a path-sensitive contextual help system. In some embodiments, user actions are obtained from a user session of a user. A concrete user action trace is captured using the obtained user actions, wherein the concrete user action trace is a subset of user actions from the user session. An abstract user action trace is generated using the concrete user action trace. A help action corresponding to the abstract user action trace is identified and, in some embodiments, is presented to the user.

A method for providing targeted feedback based on a goal of the feedback. The method includes receiving, by one or more computer processors, a goal desired as a result of an exchange of information between a plurality of users. The method then includes monitoring, by the one or more computer processors, the exchange of information between the plurality of users. The method includes mapping, by the one or more computer processors, the monitored information in a database storing ontological relationships. The method then includes determining based, at least in part, on the received goal and the stored ontological relationships, targeted feedback for the plurality of users.

Narrative patterns are conceptual structures that result from common sensemaking around narrative material elicited from the given organizations and communities and relevant to the given issues or objectives. Through the facilitated emergence of such narrative patterns, options for response are formed and evaluated. Response options include the creation and use of purposeful stories, story repositories, and other resources derived from the collected narrative material.
