A merchandising system includes an elongated mounting member that is selectively securable to a front portion of an associated shelf. A cooperating member is received on the mounting member. The cooperating member extends rearwardly over the associated shelf. The cooperating member includes an elongated body having a front end and a rear end and a nose extending from the front end. A hinge connects the nose to the front end. The nose contacts a wall of the elongated mounting member to retard relative movement between the cooperating member and the elongated mounting member.

Merchandising system

A merchandising system includes an elongated mounting member selectively securable to a front portion of an associated shelf. A track is received on the mounting member, wherein the track extends rearwardly over the associated shelf. The track includes an elongated body which is substantially solid in cross section both along a longitudinal axis of the body and in a direction approximately transverse to the longitudinal axis. A first rail extends from the body and, a second rail extends from the body. The second rail is spaced from the first rail.

A telescopic sign holder for mounting to a support surface comprises a first elongated member and a second elongated member including a longitudinal axis. The second elongated member is slidably mounted in relation to the first elongated member. An adjusting structure axially spaces the second elongated member relative to the first elongated member. The adjusting structure comprises a portion of at least one of the first and second elongated members. A support member is attached to the first elongated member and includes a mounting element which releasably secures the support member to the support surface. A display member is connected to the second elongated member for releasably holding a sign. The display member includes a longitudinal axis which extends parallel to the longitudinal axis of the second elongated member.

A merchandise display device for dispensing and displaying digital media cases. Digital media cases are inserted vertically into the opening between the front panel and the lateral supports. This opening limits the number of cases which can be removed and/or inserted at one time. The width of the opening allows only two cases to be inserted or removed at a time, to deter theft. The opening, however, still allows for easy access when removing or inserting the cases. A replaceable pusher is attached to the back wall of the unit to bias the digital media cases toward the front panel. The display units are broken into two separate components, a right and left side. The components allow for flexibility in arranging the display system, depending on the need of the vendor. The invention provides a storage display system which continuously maintains the organized orientation of digital media cases, displays the covers of these cases, permits easy access and use of the stored objects and allows for flexibility so that the storage units are easy to install, reconfigure, and remove.

Merchandizing display

A locking product display system has structures for supporting planar rigid objects in a display arrangement, and where at least some of the objects are locked into the display and cannot be removed. In one embodiment, upper and lower channels engage edges of the displayed article and side panels retain the article within the channels. In another embodiment end edges of a planar displayed object are supported by fixed wall support devices and capture within a channel formed by a hinge-mounted and fastener-secured member of the support device. In each embodiment, the product support structure hold one item in a locked position, and a second item in a removable position.

A modular rack unit for displaying greeting cards and the like comprises a base, three upstanding support members, two top rails and four panel assemblies. Each upstanding support member has its base end secured to the base so that it is substantially normal to the base's top planar surface. Two upstanding support members are end members, located at the front corners of the base and the third upstanding support member, has its base end positioned along the rear edge approximately midway between the first and second ends. The end upstanding support members are communicated to the central upstanding support member by the two top rails, so that the end upstanding support members, the central upstanding support member, the base, and the top rails form a pair of rectangular frame areas. Panel assemblies are positioned in each of the pair of rectangular frame areas so that a display face, adapted for receiving a plurality of means for displaying greeting cards or the like, on each panel assembly is outwardly directed. One of the panel assemblies in each of the rectangular frame areas faces another at an obtuse angle with the central upstanding support member forming the vertex of the obtuse angle. When end support members are shared by two abutting bases, the rack units may be linked together to form a linear rack display unit.
