A battery housing for use with a night vision device. The housing is arranged to carry a single, easily replaceable battery and is carried by an electronic device such as a night vision device.

Single battery housing assembly

A weapon mount for mounting a night vision device to the receiver rail of a weapon. A self-device adjusting cam operated connection device is present at one end region of the mount for attaching to the receiver rail, while the night vision device is connected at the other end region of the mount with a knob operated mounting screw. The knob and mounting screw are a one piece design and the mounting screw is captivated by an E-clip. The cam operated connection device may be adjusted to accommodate different size receiver rails by the provision of compressible means, such as Belleville washers.

Clamp for weapon mount

A support for adjusting the line of sight of a night vision monocular. The support has a shelf that is supported relative to a user's eyes and a flange that is coupled to the shelf and rotatable relative to the shelf. The support also has a shaft supporting the monocular. The shaft is coupled to the flange for tilting the monocular relative to the shelf concurrently with a rotation of the flange. The support also has a tilt control means coupled to the flange for applying an axial force to the flange to control the rotation of the flange and the tilting of the monocular.

Line of sight adjustment for night vision binoculars

A weapon mount for mounting a night vision device to the receiver rail of a weapon. A self-adjusting cam operated connection device is present at one end region of the mount for attaching to the receiver rail, while the night vision device is connected at the other end region of the mount with a knob operated mounting screw. The knob and mounting screw are a one piece design and the mounting screw is captivated by an E-clip. Sight clearing weapon mount

A universal contact assembly for an image intensifier tube wherein the pin socket and flat are both parts of an integrally formed unit. The pin socket has a through hole for accepting a wire lead to be soldered. A method of making a universal contact assembly wherein the pin socket shell and flat are machined from a single piece.

A removable cap for an associated battery compartment housing at least one battery, whereby battery compartment forms a portion of a night vision device which is powered by the battery. The cap includes a one-piece contact that can be attached to the cap in a single operation. The contact includes a unitarily formed leaf-spring which makes mechanical and electrical contact with the battery when the cap is installed on the battery compartment.

A battery cartridge holding a plurality of batteries for insertion into a battery cavity comprising a housing including first and second flexible holding members oppositely disposed with respect to one another on a first outer surface, the first and second holding members defining a cavity contoured to the shape of the batteries for receiving the batteries and securing thereto, a second inner surface having a recess formed therein, and a latching means coupled between the inner surface of the housing and a front cover portion and retractably extendable for engaging/disengaging slots positioned on a peripheral lip portion of the battery cavity for permitting insertion/ejection of the battery cartridge into/from the battery cavity.

A monocular night vision device comprising an objective lens assembly for receiving low intensity light; an image intensifier assembly comprising a variable gain image intensifier tube having an adjustable potentiometer mounted external to the tube for converting the low intensity light into a visible output image; a single eyepiece lens assembly for viewing the output image from the image intensifier assembly; and a non-metallic housing for receiving the objective lens assembly, image intensifier assembly, and eyepiece lens assembly, wherein the housing aligns the objective lens assembly with the image intensifier assembly and the eyepiece lens assembly along an optical axis.
