A computer-implemented method includes training a classification model to produce a mapping from a set of feature vectors to a set of confidence levels. Each feature vector describes a respective term, and each confidence level indicates a likelihood that the respective term is a keyword. A plurality of program artifacts are tokenized into a plurality of terms. For each term in the plurality of terms, a respective feature vector is determined for describing the term, based on the plurality of program artifacts. For each term in the plurality of terms, based on the respective feature vector, using the mapping, a respective confidence level is determined for indicating a likelihood that the term is a keyword of the plurality of program artifacts.

Predicting keywords in an application

An aspect includes source code analysis and adjustment. An analysis request is received based on a change detected in a source file. A static analysis of the source file is initiated using a parser to produce a list of named elements and element types based on the source file. Name and pattern recognition is performed by a pattern analyzer based on the list of named elements and element types to identify one or more naming convention inconsistencies in the source file using at least one pattern learned from the source file. A change is suggested to modify at least one named element in the source file based on identifying the one or more naming convention inconsistencies.

Source code analysis and adjustment system

Provided is a method, system, and program for performing an impact analysis of program statements in a source code file, wherein each program statement has at least one of an input parameter and output parameter. A selection is received of at least one program statement in the source code file. For each selected program statement, a determination is made of program statements in the source code file having as one input parameter one program artifact that is affected by the selected program statement.
