A rowing machine convertible for use both indoors and outdoors. In the outdoor mode, the rowing machine is configured for adaptation to a watercraft, such as a kayak or stand up paddle board (SUP). A rower operating the rowing machine pulls on a rope or cord to cause paddles positioned at the rearward end of the machine to rotate and move the machine on a body of water. In the indoor mode, legs are attached to the machine for placement on a rigid surface. The paddles are placed in a container holding fluid.

Convertible rowing apparatus

A weld-less compactor includes a side wall formed by a first panel and a second panel. Each of the first and second panels includes an L-shaped extension having an opening therethrough. The weld-less compactor also includes a fastener assembly for securing the first panel to the second panel. The fastener assembly includes a bolt and a collar. The bolt has a head and a pintail. The collar is configured to fit around the pintail of the bolt. The first panel and the second panel are secured together by engaging the openings of the first panel and the second panel with the fastener assembly.

Weld-less compactor

Several embodiments of a new concealable bed system, which comprises a new combination of a folding bed assembly (), a drawer assembly (), and a drawer support-and-control assembly () are disclosed. The embodiments allow the space-savings and convenience of sleeper sofas to be extended to a wide variety of other furniture types or other constructions, including but not limited to desks, entertainment centers, cabinets, closets, etc. In the closed position, the embodiments can look like any other drawer in a piece of furniture, custom millwork, etc., but when opened the folding bed assembly is exposed and can be easily deployed. Thus the new concealable bed system provides a more efficient, durable, and flexible option for concealing a bed than sleeper sofas, Murphy beds, trundle beds, roll-away beds, or inflatable beds.

Concealable bed system

Several embodiments of a new concealable bed system, which comprises a new combination of a folding bed assembly (), a drawer assembly (), and a drawer support-and-control assembly ()are disclosed. A fan system for use on oil and gas rigs. The system includes a hydraulic motor for generating a rotational force from a hydraulic fluid, a water pump member for pumping water, a control member for controlling the flow of hydraulic fluid and water. The system also includes a fan device having a plurality of individual blades for providing an airflow, with the fan device being operatively connected to the hydraulic pump member and a nozzle connected to the water pump member for spraying a mist, with the nozzle containing a variable opening for varying the pressure and volume of water discharged. A leak path is provided for capturing and channeling leaking fluids so that fluids are contained within the fan device not in the air stream.

A sub basket having a bottom portion and four sides defining an interior, and an open top section, and a series of pins positioned on the floor portion of the sub basket and extending into the interior of the sub basket where the pins are sized to allow a sub to slide over the pins.

Sub basket

The invention is a barrel jacket designed to protect a barrel in transit. The invention is a container with at least one wall and a floor portion forming an interior, where the wall has an opening sized to allow a barrel to be placed in the interior of the container. The container wall includes a door section allowing access to the interior and closeable. The invention includes a series of offset plates positioned in the interior of the container, where the offset plates are positioned to engage a barrel placed in the interior of the container. Each of the offset plates is connected to but offset from the interior facing portion of the container's interior walls through a crushable member that is adapted to absorb energy caused by an impact to the exterior facing surface of the container's wall.

Barrel jacket

The device is a combination bailer/compactor that is a structure with a series of sidewalls and a floor portion, the structure having a top portion and a bottom portion. The sidewalls form an interior, where the interior is further subdivided into a bailer compartment and a compactor compartment by a common interior partition. Each interior compartment has a separate access opening and access door closing the opening. A track is located near the top portion with a compressive ram being mounted in a frame which is moveable in the track between the bailer compartment and the compactor compartment. A power source is operationally connected to the compressive ram. Both compartments are equipped with access doors.

A trash compaction system which includes a lower container portion for receiving trash thereinto, a ram member positionable over an open top end of the container, the ram member hydraulically lowerable into the container space, so as to compact trash within the container space; a support frame upon which the ram member is supported between an upper position above the container space to a lowered, compacting position within the container space; track members extending horizontally outward from the upper edge of the container; rollers on the frame of the ram, the rollers riding on the track members, so that when the ram is in the upper position, the ram may be rolled along the track members to a position aside from the container so as to expose the opening of the container for dropping trash therewithin.

Method of compacting trash on a platform

A system for compacting material within a drum which includes a substantially tubular chamber, for placing a standard 55-gallon drum within, of the type having roll rings spaced along its annular wall; the chamber including a pair of swing away doors, for allowing access for the drum, and for closing around the wall of the drum, defining a portion of the inner wall of the chamber; a ram, configured in a dimension to fit within the drum opening for compacting material contained within the drum, and a series of thick, metal bands along the interior wall of the chamber, spaced apart so that one of the metal bands fills each space between the wall of the drum between the roll ring and the chamber wall.

A process for compacting normally occurring radioactive material (NORM) into a cylinder, such as a pipe, by providing a cylinder having a continuous sidewall, a first open end and a second closed in, and a cavity formed by the side wall defining a NORM storage space therein; providing a hopper for holding a quantity of the NORM; positioning the open end of the cylinder against the hopper, so that there is communication between the hopper space containing the NORM and the cylinder space; moving a ram member through the hopper toward the open end of the cylinder for forcing a quantity of the NORM contained within the hopper into the cylinder; repeating the compaction step until the cylinder is substantially filled with the NORM; and closing off the open end of the cylinder so that the NORM cannot move from the cylinder. The process also includes the step of removing the moisture from the NORM before the NORM is compacted in the cylinder.

A refuse compacting system including a plurality of containers, each of the containers being substantially square and when placed in groups of four, forming four compacting stations, adjacent one another for occupying a reduced amount of space. In addition, the four containers would be set upon a manually rotatable platform, that would be rotatable upon a central axis for rotating the containers to a specific point when that particular container would be the point of compaction. The system would further include a single ram movable between a single preferably hydraulically operated ram movable between upper and lower positions, so that when a particular container removed directly beneath the ram, the turn-table would be manually placed in a stop position, and the ram moving to the down position in order to crush and containerize any waste materials in the container. There is further provided bag means contained in each of the containers, for allowing one to remove the compacted trash after the compaction is complete.

Revolving recycling compactor having multiple containers

A disposable combination (10) of an expanded foam cup (12) and an expanded base (14) is disclosed for preventing tipping of the cup and spilling of its contents. The disposable cup (12) has a frusoconical side wall (16) with an upper portion (18) having an open upper end (20) and with a lower end (24) closed by a round bottom (28). The base (14) has a frustoconical shape that coverages in an upward direction in its use position and has the same size and shape as the upper portion (18) of the cup side wall (16) so as to be stackable prior to use. Frustoconical base (14) has a lower end (30) on which the base rests in its use position and has an upper open end (34) that receives the cup during use. Between the upper and lower ends, the frustoconical base (14) has a height according to a prescribed equation that positions the cup bottom (28) and the lower base end (30 ) in a coplanar relationship to provide the support that prevents the cup from tipping during use.
