A panel for use in siding is disclosed. The panel has a cement core in a shape defining the panel of the siding, and a plastic film layer attached to the cement core. The plastic film layer is either a polymer or a copolymer of vinyl chloride. The panel may also have an adhesive layer which adheres the plastic film layer to the cement core. The cement core may contain fiber reinforcement.

A locker door retrofit assembly is disclosed which is adapted for replacing door assemblies on metallic or other lockers with a plastic door assembly. The locker door retrofit assembly may include a plastic jamb hinge that covers the existing hinge and a door assembly. The retrofit locker assembly may be assembled off-site and attached to the existing locker assembly as one unit.

Locker door retrofit assembly

A locker door retrofit assembly is disclosed which is adapted for replacing door assemblies on metallic or other lockers with a plastic door assembly. The locker door retrofit assembly may include a plastic jamb hinge that covers the existing hinge and a plastic jamb lock that receives a plastic door assembly when in a closed orientation.

Rigid PVC or other weatherable capstock and a rigid thermoplastic substrate are coextruded to form a channel-shaped cover adapted for close fitting resilient engagement with a plank or beam. If the plank or beam is wooden, the rear marginal flange of the cover may be flared outwardly or inwardly, depending upon the proximity of the planks or beams to one another, and horizontally elongated fastener-receiving slots are provided in at least one leg of the cover. If the beam or plank is formed from metal, the rear marginal flange is inturned to provide a snap fit between the cover and the beam. End caps and connectors are provided to hold the cover in place on the metal beam.
