An underwater navigation system for indicating a return direction from an underwater return position to a starting position includes a processor and a power source, a three-dimensional compass, a timer, a water speed sensor and a display interfacing with the processor. The processor is adapted to determine a direction of the starting position relative to the underwater return position based on data received from the three-dimensional compass, the timer and the water speed sensor.

A golf club head has a front wall member and a rear wall member joined by a pair of arms that extend rearward from the from the heel and toe ends of the front wall member. An arcuate wall formed in the rear wall member provides an alignment aid. The club may have a protrusion extending above the top rail. The protrusion may have an arcuate surface that corresponds to the arcuate wall formed in the rear member to enhance alignment of the golf club head. The club head may include a transverse alignment aid to assist the user with proper eye position and lie of the club head when addressing the golf ball.

A measurement tool for determining at least one of the loft angle or the lie angle of a golf club. The measurement tool includes a golf club head support structure having a mating surface and at least one beveled support element. The gauge also has a clamping tool capable securing the golf club head to the golf club head support structure. The clamping tool may include a pushing element and a mating element. The mating element has a jaw for applying a lateral force to the golf club head to secure it to the golf club support structure and a fastening plate for applying a vertical force to the golf club head to secure it to the golf club support structure. A gauge capable of indicating at least one of the loft angle or the lie angle of the golf club is positioned adjacent to the golf club head support structure.

A golf club head has a face insert that is supported from beneath by a substrate composed of a plurality of elongate rod elements arranged in a parallel closely packed array. Because the face insert is made of a single material, the resiliency of the face insert itself does not vary across the front surface of the face insert; however, the effective resiliency of the face insert may be varied by varying the resiliency of the substrate. This is accomplished by selecting different materials and/or different overall lengths for the rod elements that comprise the substrate. Use of a substrate comprising a plurality of rod elements permits the effective resiliency of the face insert to be varied without varying the face material.

A portable enclosure for storing and carrying baseball and other athletic equipment consists of six fabric-covered rigid panels which can be closed by means of a single continuous zipper to form a rigid rectangular parallelepiped that can be carted easily by means of wheels located at a lower edge. When the portable enclosure is unzipped into the open position, the back wall and side walls open up flat so that the pockets, shelves and pouches located on the interior surfaces thereof are accessible. Yet, since the portable enclosure is now flat, it can be located out of the way, secured against the back of the dugout where it will not create a trip hazard for the players.

A golf putter head with a heel end and a toe end includes a face member arranged for impacting a golf ball. A rear member extends in an arcuate path from one end of the face member to the other end of the face member. The face member and the rear member are made of a low density material such as carbon fiber. A first plurality of three weight members is disposed in the rear member, and each of these three weight members is each made of high density material, such as tungsten. A second plurality of two weight members is disposed in the face member, and each of these weight members is also made of high density material.
