The target computer system is the system that requires access or service. The operation of the computer systems in the vicinity of the target computer system is modified to reduce the temperature in the vicinity of the target computer system or along the pathway between the entrance to the data center and the target computer system. After the target computer system is accessed or serviced, the computer systems in the vicinity of the target computer system or along the pathway between the entrance to the data center and the target computer system can be returned to their original state.

The fixed coupling elements are provided in a fixed location at the destination and the movable coupling elements are provided on the movable object. The guiding device allows movement of the object in a first direction so that it can reach the ultimate coupling position, which is determined by the fixing mechanism. The movable coupling elements are separated into first elements that engage in the guiding device and second elements that engage with the fixing mechanism. A device for transporting objects to a destination has the aim of providing an economical and simplified design of a technical solution for transferring containers in an ergonomic manner such that the operating processes are substantially facilitated. A transfer mechanism contains, on a vertically adjustable platform, a carrier for the object to be transported, which carrier can be extended horizontally in the direction of the destination. There is provided a compulsory linking of the vertical adjustment of the platform and the horizontal adjustment of the carrier and a shared driving element is provided for both adjustments. The device is used for the transport of objects in semiconductor fabricating plants.
