A tamper evident food container is provided. The container comprises a base hingedly connected to a lid. The lid includes an outer raised portion having an integrally connected inner recessed portion formed therein, wherein the inner recessed portion includes a peelable flap portion partially detachable from the inner recessed portion for lifting the peelable flap upwardly from the inner recessed portion; an upper flange extending perpendicularly outward from a perimeter of the lid and having a connecting member located between extending latching portions extending outwardly from the upper flange and adapted for being received in the two latch receiving openings; and a tab connected to the peelable flap portion on a first end and detachably connected to the connecting member on a second end, where the tab is configured for pushing inward to detach the second end from the connecting member allowing the peelable flap portion to be lifted upwardly.

Container for produce storage, packing and transport

A lighting device employs at least one string of LEDs as a lighting source. The string of LEDs is coupled in series with a first switch, wherein the string of LEDs and the first switch are coupled between a power supply node and ground. During a normal operation mode, a system controller is configured to close the first switch to deliver a drive current to the string of LEDs from the power supply node. The system controller is further associated with a temperature sensor and is configured to detect an over-temperature condition based on information provided by the temperature sensor. Upon detecting the over-temperature condition, the system controller will open the first switch to stop the drive current from flowing through the string of LEDs.

Over-temperature handling for lighting device

A radiation distribution system designed to produce a batwing distribution. The system may be used with radiative sources emitting in the visible spectrum or in other spectra. The system comprises a specially shaped lens disposed over a radiative source, such as an LED, for example. The lens and source are arranged between two reflector bodies, both of which have an elongated reflective surface that faces the source. The reflector bodies each have two different reflective surfaces that face outward and away from each other. The lens and both reflective surfaces work in concert to redirect a portion of the emitted radiation to create the desired batwing distribution. Several sources may be arranged linearly between a single pair of reflector bodies on a common surface to create a linear array of sources. Likewise, multiple linear arrays may be combined to form a two-dimensional array. In the two-dimensional configuration, linear arrays of sources are disposed on both sides of a reflector body, so that both of the reflective surfaces are utilized.

A modular LED lighting fixture is provided, where the shape and brightness of light output from the fixture can be altered by changing LED modules and/or power supplies powering the modules within the fixture. An electrical connector assembly includes a housing supporting a plurality of terminals for a primary circuit and at least two terminals for a sensor circuit. A mating header includes terminals corresponding to the primary circuit and to the sensor circuit. A conductive link is disposed in either the housing or the header to short the sensor terminals disposed therein. Once the mating components of the connector are attached, the sensor circuit is completed through the conductive link and an indication of a proper connection can be verified.

A motion and orientation responsive device having a pendulum pivotally mounted between its ends, and means for detecting relative displacement of the upper pendulum end and a zero position reference on the pendulum support from certain normal relative positions thereof in response to either or both translational and rotational displacements of the device. Presently preferred embodiments of the invention are a seismic or earthquake alarm, an intrusion alarm, and a tilt alarm. In these preferred embodiments, the pendulum shaft is a slender resilient wire, and its pivot is situated close to its lower center of mass in order to amplify the lateral motion of the upper pendulum end for a given angle of pendulum rotation and thereby enhance the sensitivity of the device to low magnitude displacements. The pendulum and zero position reference in one preferred embodiment are uniquely constructed and arranged to automatically align themselves in a zero position when the device is stationary in its normal orientation without the necessity of precisely positioning or adjusting the alarm device to compensate for manufacturing tolerances or improper orientation of the object which supports the device. A hinge having at least three leaves pivotally joined along edges of the leaves and adapted for attachment to two members to be pivotally connected with at least one member secured to a pair of the leaves which are mutally inclined in such a way that each leaf of the pair resists bending of the other leaf of the pair. A present best mode embodiment of the hinge has four leaves and is designed primarily for use on so-called ultralight airplanes as aileron, rudder, and elevator hinges which are immune to fatigue stress failure. Another hinge embodiment is designed for use as a door hinge and has only three leaves.

A parking stand for supporting the tongue of a parked trailer. The parking stand has a coupling ball at its upper end for engagement in the socket of a coupling part on the front end of the trailer tongue and a castor wheel or fixed base at its lower end for supporting the stand on the ground. A clamp on the upper end of the stand acts against the trailer coupling part to secure the stand against swivel movement relative to the trailer tongue.

Readily portable apparatus for exterminating animal pests, particularly rodents such as gophers which burrow through the ground. The apparatus includes a small, lightweight internal combustion engine, and means for directing the engine exhaust into exterminating relationship to the pests, such as into a burrow or tunnel of a ground burrowing rodent. The preferred engine is a two-cycle engine which burns a fuel/oil mixture to produce exhaust containing smoke which asphyxiates, carbon monoxide which effectively poisons, and intense pressure pulsations which tend to drive a rodent from an underground tunnel, such that the rodent faces the delema of remaining underground and dying from the effects of the exhaust gas or coming to the surface and exposing himself to death in other ways above ground. In the presently preferred apparatus, the engine is mounted on an inverted bowl-shaped exhaust shroud which seats on the ground to direct the engine exhaust into an underground rodent burrow. A second disclosed embodiment has a perforated probe which is pushed through the ground into a rodent tunnel to direct exhaust gas into the tunnel. Both embodiments have provision for connection to a dual outlet hose to be inserted into an entrance to an underground tunnel system for directing exhaust gas into tunnels leading in opposite directions from the entrance.

Pest extermination method and apparatus

A relatively simple, lightweight, low cost brake assembly for relatively light weight vehicles, particularly so-called ultralight airplanes which may be quickly and easily installed on and removed from a vehicle. The brake assembly has a housing to be fixed on a vehicle wheel support, such as an axle, and rotatably mounting a brake rotor having means for compling to a wheel. Operable between the housing and rotor are selectively operable brake means for applying a braking force to the rotor.

An improved engine mount for model airplanes which significantly increases usable engine power by reducing engine oscillation and thereby also engine power loss due to such oscillation and which greatly facilitates installation and removal of the engine. The mount comprises a relatively stiff mounting block substantially coaxial with the engine crankshaft rotation axis and extending between and rigidly secured to the rear end of the engine crankcase and an engine mounting wall or the like on the airplane at the rear of the engine. The preferred engine mount has a generally cylindrical spool-like shape with front and rear end flanges containing holes to receive screws for securing the mount to the engine and engine mounting wall.

This invention is a lubrication pumping means contained within one or more reciprocating rods to assure lubrication of the crankpin rod bearing and the wrist pin bearing during operation of a two-cycle internal combustion engine.
